There are no nominees for this award. The recipient is awarded at the discretion of the chairman of the Gospel Diva Awards. The Special Gospel Diva Merit Award is awarded to a gospel diva in recognition of their work in ministering the word of God through gospel music and other Godly activities. This recognition is bestowed regardless of whether the diva is nominated for the awards or not.
The 2024 recipient of the Special Gospel Diva Merit Award is already an award winning gospel songstress with a couple of albums under her belt. Born and raised in a Christian family, she started singing at Sunday School and continued her singing journey at the youth, church choir and worship team at her local church.
She captures the hearts of many through her love for worship. This diva continues to demonstrate her love for the work of Christ as a self appointed ambassador for the Limpopo Gospel Divas Concert by constantly posting this year’s activities across all her social media handles.
The recipient takes home a certificate, trophy and R5000.00 cash from J & R Accountants. Over and above, the recipient will officially form part of next year’s Limpopo Gospel Divas Concert line up to be held on the 16th of August 2025.
