In real life an interceptor only has a 53% chance of intercepting... experts even say that 4 interceptors are needed to try to guarantee interception, but they do not take into account decoys and countermeasures. Speaking of which... that decoy missile, what is its purpose?
I wanted to make sure everything worked, as I said in the video, because it wouldnt be fun launching a high explosive missile and failing to intercept it and ruining my anti missile defence system. Not that it takes a long time to replace everything if something goes wrong but its easier to do a test and demonstrate how the system works with a decoy,2 in 1,rather than just demonstrate how it works and risk blowing up my setup. also this is minecraft so just 1 interceptor will be fine, unless you have multiple missiles or decoys along with the real threat
decoy in this mod works like a troll/test, it has a tier 4 (nuclear, thermonuclear level) signature on the radar but does not make a lot of damage (it explodes in mid-air i think)
@@equinoxed8115 I think decoy missiles are there for 2 reasons: 1) launch multiple decoys with 1 real missile so the radar defence system has a lot of trouble targeting the real missile 2) to be able to test if said radar defence systems work without risking it with real missiles that do damage Allthought I didnt know they exploded mid-air.
Is there a way to make missiles launch at automated random locations in a certain block radius like 200x200 I wanna try and make a missile barrage but I don’t wanna manually locate all the coords
@@kieranmilner4208 there's a target designator where you type in the coords instead of going to said coords and linking them so you can just know the coords of the target and still strike them,as for random barrage from what I know you can't do it

Ill def try that out. As for shells my best guess is that it detects shells from the 240mm turret that also works as artillery.

I think you can but when i tested it briefly it didnt work so I just use detonator
