Nice video! I lived in Beacon for many years . I managed a convenient store there for several years and then worked for the school district as a school bus driver for over 10 years. Unfortunately due to family issues, I moved to Texas 19 years ago. I miss it. ❤

This is so nice to hear! I love sharing little finds with people. If you’ve stayed in Texas almost twenty years that’s a good sign. Hope it’s treating you nicely! Thanks for watching!

I moved to Beacon from Brooklyn N.Y., in 1965, 2 of my 5 children were borned up there, 1 in Highland Hospital in Beacon and the other one in Butterfield Hospital in Cold Springs N.Y... I moved to Tennessee back in 1999 because of families illnesses and never moved back to Beacon, I'm still in Tennessee. I still have family living in Beacon, Wappingers Falls, Fishkill and Poughkeepsie N.Y. I guess I'll never see Beacon again, because of age and health issues I can't no longer travel more than 30 miles outside of home.

Aww I’m sorry to hear that you are unable to leave that far of a distance. Hopefully you have those around you whether family or friends who are close enough who can update you on things up here or you can watch videos of life in this area whenever you’re missing it🫶🏾 hopefully my video was a little fun for you. Hope you stay blessed and healthy in Tennessee and that your family here are able to come and visit you sometime.
