I just made chocolate almond coconut granola today. Super tasty treat. I thought I was going to finish my coconut too but I still have some left 😂 Used my slivered almonds because I was out of sliced without digging into freezer nuts. I used coconut oil and almond extract. Mine had honey and syrup mixed. Might have to try yours when I run out with dried cherries are my favorite. 😊 Adding dried blueberry to my Trader Joe’s list. Love the lamps! My mom is addicted to the marble lamps.
Hi ali. I heard where your from ga. So am i. North ga here. Anyway i love your recipes. I am slowly turning toward all natural things. All natural things that go into my body and on my body. Love all of your videos. You talk slow enough and plain enough for me to understand. I especially love how you fill out your description box. I have wrote down and took pictures of your recipes. Again thank you
Super. TFS your recipe n method. I’ve been getting it in a 5 pound bag from Azure standard. Cause I was too lazy to make it. But not anymore. I’m gonna tweak your recipe to our tastes and give it a whirl. Thank you, Ali. ❤
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa We don’t buy Azure’s oats - we make our own. We use a MockMill Flocker to make our rolled oats from organic Groats. Fresh oats are a game changer!
I am really enjoying this channel. trying to find some equivalent ingredients in Australia can be fun but I like to make own food stuffs so I know exactly what is in them. I will be trying lots more of your recipes. Keep it up
Welcome. I’m glad you are here. It’s funny how if I look at recipe books from other counties I’m clueless on what some things are. If you ever get stuck let me know.
I love that it's like having a coffee date with you when I watch your videos. You're so friendly. Thanks for another great recipe. I'm allergic to nuts so I have to make lots of these treats myself.
I truly love how funny and down to earth you are. Yes your PYREX from 25 years ago is valuable, because it is the original PYREX that is spelled in capital letters on your PYREX pieces. PYREX was purchased and now when you buy Pyrex look at how it is spelled on the dish. The P is uppercase, and the remaining characters are lower case. Also, the composition of the glass has been changed. I make my granola the way you do but with more and different nuts and dried fruit. I also use honey, cinnamon and nutmeg and a half stick melted butter. With the exception of the dried fruits I put the ingredients in a pot with the butter melt it and pour it over the granola then bake it at 250 for 45 minutes turning it twice at 15 minute intervals. As soon as it’s ready I put it into a glass mason jar so that the granola stays soft crunch, and chewy.
Thank you Ali! I have so wanted to know how to make granola! You are such a riot! 3 k so ridiculous! Thank you for your kitchen day! LOL, no lamp problem I have a bowl problem…I loved little dishes and bowls😂. I love your massive cutting board, is that something you found online? I would love to get one that size!…Homemade vanilla yogurt?! would you consider doing a video on how to make that?! yum! I would love to know how to make my own yogurt. Congrats on over 1K subs!
My giant cutting board was actually from Costco online for $40! I plan to make some yogurt in a week and will totally make it vanilla for you. Thanks for your support!
Omgosh! We love Grumpy's. We live in Ellijay and go there every so often You are so right. The upstairs is hooooot in the summer and cold in the winter. Do you live close to Ellijay? I would love to get local pecans like you do.
I’m actually in middle Georgia. I get my pecans from the Kiwanas when they sell them in the fall. They are amazing and not crazy $$$. Can you believe we have been in Georgia for 11 years and never been to Elijay? I know!!!
Butter! Not oil And syrup is nice but honey way cheaper n I prefer it even I gotta have sunflower seeds too Thick sliced hazelnuts are to die for in this!! Freeze dried blueberries Omigoodness No bran needed (& we eat only whole grains anyway)

I hope you like it. Azure oats are the best! I haven’t tried their granola since we make our own. I’m interested to see how it compares.

This looks great! Thanks for sharing. If I could go to Trader Joe’s everyday, I would!
Do you not vacuum seal your dried fruit? Seems like it would be good for years if you did. Just wondering
I don’t. It holds well for like a year and we use it pretty regularly. I’d think if you did it would last for a long time
You made my Alexa sound off. 😅
Haha!! I need to stop doing that to yall.
Question: So this won’t mildew in the cub-bard
Nope. Mine lasts months. I keep it in a mason jar with a lid.
