Imagine if Blizzard put out experimental patches like this every month/ every 2 months. OW would be so much fun
I think the words " first Creator Experimental Card participants responsible for each of the role changes:" imply that they will do these more often. I'd say once per two months, alternating between these and a serious patch with ideas taken from this would be a good idea
I’d be down for maybe like 3 a year but for a decent amount of time so we can build skills on the patch.
Or maybe they could make actual patches so the game isn't so stale 🤔🤔
@@echologic3918 I agree. Experimental patches are cool for a couple days, but the game isn't gonna be fun again until they make an actual good patch. I suspect content creators are hyping it up because it's at least a step in the right direction, but if they are only gonna do this for the next year then that step means nothing.

This patch is the most fun I've had in OW in 2.5 years
If only Blizzard would push some of these changes through. Im doubtful though, maybe just the Orisa hat for the christmas event. Knowing how much these developers love pointless cosmetics, instead of real content lol. Im pumped to try these changes though

This patch almost brought back the 2016 feeling of loading up overwatch when the game was still new and fresh

I'd love to see something like this in arcade where random changes are applied to every hero each time you queue up. That would be the true Total Mayhem experience 😆
They could even do some week-long challenges with specific rules like 5 Hanzo's and Ana vs 5 Genji's and Mercy and even get help from the community. So many ideas to make the game more fun and active without going to 5v5 and releasing PvE events
@@indeboss ow did actually have something like that in the very first iteration of the arcade, I remember daily modes they'd have like pharmercy comps only or little modes just like that, I could see them doing that again with ow2 if they add extra changes like experimental tweaks or something

Sad thing is if something like this gets added to live, the fun will most likely get beaten out of it pretty quick because people will find the broken meta in it.
Orisa, Rein, Bap is going to be busted aka bronze comp.
Orisa shoots far and is indestructible now while being healed by Bap that heals himself at the same time.
Rein shoots close and has 2000 more shield to protect orisa.
You get now CC by bap dmg and exo boots while unkillable bap is passively healing orisa.
@@egonzalez4294 actually in the 5v5 meta with only 1 tank some of these changes would fit extremely well
Got back on Overwatch with a friend and we've not had this much fun playing the game since year 2 of the games release. They nailed it with this experimental card in terms of fun.

yeah lol, that was flats' intention. the firestrike going to 2 shatter doing dmg and cancelling pin were all actual purposeful changes that he wanted in the game
Absolutely. Playing this patch with my friends made overwatch feel new again. None of us knew what to expect or what the heroes did. So much fun. Ice block mei kills are awesome

This is really what the game needs. Not necessarily balance, just more variety.
They should keep letting content creators help make actual experimental patches, and then through some sort of voting system by players after feedback, certain elements of these patches can be added to comp servers by devs

@@giovaninevarez6058 I just think some of these should be in the normal game. Try Harding overwatch is great but it gets boring after 5 years of meta following, I wouldn’t mind a whole season of just wacky changes and weird compositions just for fun
