"Dance Moms" follows Abby Lee Miller and the nation's favorite tween dancers as they take on Hollywood while new auditions, new competitions, and new studios raise the stakes.
The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began - the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

Like consider this, if a boyfriend treated his girlfriend like this and used the same argument you just said, it would be toxic and even abusive. Yelling at your kids like Abby just did to Jojo would only make them scared of you and cut contact as soon as possible. It’s about making them know what’s right from wrong without yelling, it’s by letting them learn their mistakes and tell them what they did wrong.

I am 19 worked my first job this summer the environment was so toxic omg and they would hate it when I cried after they yelled at me, said something smart, or humiliated me infront others when I made a mistake. And they then told me if I cry again I would be fired cuz I’m a baby.
I totally understand that there is an appropriate time to cry. But they would literally cause me to cry. And just to make sure I wasn’t tripping with the way they treated me there were other girls around my age who were treated the same way. And we all talked about it.

The teacher is trying to show her that not everything in life is given to you on a silver platter because she was acting up before.
@@idofentanyl There are better way to deal with kids like that. She's not supposed to just assume she can treat her badly because of the little information she knows about her. She can easily tell her these things without yelling and projecting her anger and telling kids "you deserve nothing!" is not going to make them listen to you any more than they were before. If anyone's acting entitled here, it's her. Jojo didn't yell, she didn't tell the teacher "you deserve nothing!" No matter who you are, kids are still developing and the woman isn't getting paid to yell at children in exchange for lies
@@xxxarimaxxx Exactly! I was once very spoiled when I was little and it was mostly by my memmaw. I got everything I wanted whenever I cried and I was a little demon child cause I didn't understand manners, I was spoiled, and I thought I could just get whatever I want with crying and by asking.
My mom was able to get me to grow out of that though. I'm still more spoiled than the average kid. But I do understand manners, the word "no", and to not think the world revolves around me. You are completely correct, there are better ways to teach spoiled children without yelling at them and basically telling them to not show emotions.
