What a fun liitle bike, too bad the only RE dealer anywhere near me charges 2k over sticker... i bought the scl500 from a different dealer and love it.

The only dealer locally that sells Husqvarnas is marking up the svartpilen 401s by 1500, miss me with that nonsense. RE can't give away the scram right now and have some package deals going with them. When the Triumph 400x lands RE is gonna be sitting on the rest of the scrams they have. There will be some great deals out there.

@@drew5337 I am looking for a cheap off-road adventure bike and when the dealer adds 2k to the sticker, it eats up any DEAL or Savings you might have had because it is a RE. The Triumph scram 400 is a better all around bike for almost the same price. The scram needs a sticker of 4k with other perks to make it even a consideration.

The Scram 411 is the perfect all around do-it-all motorcycle. Air cooled simplicity and a proven track record.

The bike is awful. I tried it recently at a demo day and it was a major disappointment. Its not well balanced, it carries it's weight weirdly high, and the throttle map/motor are completely underpowered. It actually felt dangerous to ride around traffic because the acceleration was so slow you could not pull away from a bad situation, merge, or do anything effectively at pace even at City speeds. I could wring it's neck, hammering on the power, and 0-60 was about a month, 0-40 was about a fortnight.

I know you have never tried the any re bikes in your entire life if you don't know what is why this bike made for I think you don't know about the reality if you have more money by some higher motorcycle and enjoy don't give the compliment to the any companies

This bike is trash. Speed wobble when cornering past 80kph which is all the time where I live… thought it was just me but others mentioned it too.

The scram might have been a worthwhile choice if they put their 650 twin in it. Heck even the 350. But with absolutely garbage that is the Himalayan 411 motor with worse throttle mapping than the Himalayan it’s outright dangerous on the road.
I don’t need the fastest bike around but it needs to be able to get me out of bad situations if it’s road legal.
The scram is not that bike.
Don’t believe a single person who says that it “does just fine with the current power it outputs” because if you live anywhere with traffic you need something else.

"terrible"? It doesn't matter who you are, if you think this looks "terrible" then you simply have bad tastes. Sure, it doesn't have to be your preferred style, but that kind of statement just shows that you're narrow minded.

I get it why you say so. I myself did find the look confusing especially with different colour combinations so i bought the black one as it looked uniform and hid it's deficient design look. Why I bought it? Many good reasons. But I can say that this looks grows on you overtime.

@@complexbentsimpler I may be the odd man out, or the strange one. When I buy a bike, it has to be captivating, exciting, engaging. I'd imagine as the company finds more and more success more models will be introduced and the design team takes risks n stuff, but I'd take most Hondas, Kawasakis, or Suzukis over Royal Enfield. I truely could not spend my money on this when there are options. My local bile shop is an authorized dealer, I see 15+ of these in diff models and color configurations and I can't find an exciting bike in the crowd. The bike doesn't trigger me or make me mad, it's just like being offered oreviously chewed up gum, no thanks, the flavor is missing. Sleek, sexy, streamline, stylish. All missing.
