I discovered him in the end of last year, it was the best choice, he is now my ult, he is so creative, sweet and amazing person! He may look intimidating, but he is vulnerable and shy person, but strong and great performer, you will definitely love his style, how he directs and edit videos! Recently, he directed IU music video Shopper and acted there! And also except his stuff, you should watch him in CL (she also was in his solo debut music video So Beautiful) music video 5 star, he is gorgeous there!
Ahh this was so fun to see such a blind reaction. And yes i assure u this man could not be hyped enough imo, theres really no one like him. And yes alomg with writing his own music etc, he directs and even edits his mvs!!!he's a genuine creative genius if u ask me! If u think ur mind is blown now, just wait till u learn the backstory to all this. All his mvs are actually connected to a story and 'lore' that is based aroud his mental health. So yes while he is scary and joker esque, he is actually portraying a very vunerable side to himself here. He has Bipolar 1 and DID (dissacociative identity disorder) he has the characters of Mito and mr insanity which are portrayed in varying different ways. Mito is the characrer or 'alter' he literally becomes in his manic downs. Because of his DID he actually blacks out in this state. Mr insanity is the manic highs. Mito is often portrayed in black and white, a deep voice, and his one eye. While mr insanity is well, very colorful and animated. His look changes througout the mvs as becomes more 'insane'. His recent album is all about mr insanity while the orevious two focus on mito. The character we see in this video is actually completely new and he called it the hybrid. It is the world in between mito and mr insanity similar to between heavan and hell (limbo). So he possesses features of both mr insanity and mito. But bascially what I'm getting at is, what he is portraying on screen is a very real depiction of what he goes thru. I could genuinely go on and on forever about his story, but i will leave it there for next time :) If u want my personal recommendation, MIITO movie part 1 is about 7 minutes of 4 different songs on his last album and is such a piece art of course all directed and edited by him
