Los Angeles Driving Tour: descending from the Top of the Hollywood Hills down the hill to the West Hollywood area.
Nichols canyon road is an alternative to more popular and more congested Laurel Canyon Blvd and Highland Avenue, but it's very curvey as you can see.
If you live in LA, you take longer route to save time in traffic.
You see 3 colors of the trash cans: blue is for recycling, green for garden waste and food waste, which gets composted and black for your general junk.
This hill has speed bumps, watch out for those. The homes on Nichols canyon are of different architectural styles and small front yards don't really show much veriety in landscape ideas.
Some houses have nothing but garage doors facing outside, the rest of the house can hang from the hill.
Rolling down the hill is kind of shooting and relaxing.
In 8:30 time mark you see some old Recreational Vehicles parked on the side of the road above the hill.
Most of the drive is really dark and most colorful things you see are trash cans. They get rolled out once a week, and you can guess which day of week it is. BTW it's Wednesday.
As you can see all the cars are heading up and non of them are going out direction.
This was a rainy few weeks, so all the grass is green, not yellow as it is often gets.
At 15:00 Time mark you can see the map to get an idea of where you are in better perspective.
You can see the Moon from the sunset Blvd at 17:00 it hits the palm trees occasionally.
Finally you are driving along the Huge billboards road. It's Sunset Strip.
The finest American motorcycle I guess Harley Davidson, adds to your calm Driving tour experience at 18:30 time mark and accompanies us for 5 minutes until 22:50
Then you are descending from Sunset strip by Doheny drive down to Santa Monica Blvd.
You see Beverly Hills welcome sign at 24:14
At 26:00 you can see Disco clubs and funny store windows at 27:00
Then you see Shake Shack at 27:50.
Unlike the Laurel canyon, the views from the hoes down the hill are not as panoramic and streets that branch out of the Nichols canyon are not as long.
Then you cross the residential part of Hollywood Blvd, take a right on Sunset strip and drive down to Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood which is a part of route 66, see some disco clubs, store windows and shake shack restaurant.
That way you get the full perspective on where you were starting this tour.
