I urge everyone to realize that the man who made karmageddon got the guru he deserved. Anyone who personally knows Baba, knows that karmageddon doesn't portray the real Bhagavan Das. Westerners are so quick to judgment based on faulty sources and reasoning. BD is a human being who has devoted his life to the celebration of "GOD" At 73 years old he is currently embarking on a new chapter in his life, performing solo kirtan across the continent.
Nico you are so correct and thank you for standing up for Baba. I actually live on the same property as he does and we share a spiritual Retreat that we are putting together. He is an amazing teacher and friend and we called him grandpa or Baba Bear. That movie was all about the experience of the movie maker not getting what he expected and also he used lots of editing to make Baba look way worse than he is and it's such a farce. The good thing about Baba is he is human and is very transparent and honest and those who hang out with him as you know, know that he is not a charlatan or trying to portray himself as an avatar or somebody not human. But I've never met somebody into God more than he. He spends 12 hours a day chanting his Mantra completely alone. I have been around him with women many times and he is very very respectful towards them. He's just now going through a divorce and at 73 year olds old is going through another metamorphosis and I'm happy to be sharing many many hours with him on a weekly basis. We are opening the spiritual Retreat to anyone who would like to visit who is a serious lover of God and to anyone who absolutely loves Baba. Southern Oregon Paradise. AUM namah shivaya

It's all about the filmmakers dissatisfaction with his own perception and expectations not being met but I tell you baba is a very kind and wonderful human being. And completely human and he admits that part. We are still honest with each other and I've seen that movie and at first I had the same reaction as you but after I got to know him for a long time I realized there was clever editing and believe me that was made 15 or 20 years ago I believe?
Bhagavan Das is greatly underrated as a musician. IMO his music shows greatness and is at times transcendent
