Ok so i did my own Testing and found that for me th 546.17 was the best my current measured interrupt to process latency was 75.50 μs and highest measured interrupt to process latency was 197.7 and was also experiencing a boost in fps and the one you where recommending i had 84.3 and 201.60 and was experiencing lower fps

Hi Khorvie, I love the tips. I was curious on what your opinion would be on DX12 vs performance mode for my system. R5 5600x, RTX 3070 Ti. I am playing on a 2560x1440 monitor and I am attempting to find what my best options are to reduce my lows as much as possible. I started using DX12, with Nvidia DLSS on Performance mode in fortnite. It appears to improve my overall FPS and may help with hitches but I don’t know if this is my best option if I am looking to downscale. I like to use stretched 2304 x 1440 which is the equivalent of 1728 x 1080 on a 1080p monitor.
With your card and dlss that should be a good combo, but for nvidia gpus perf mode should almost always be good. My recommendation- play a game on both modes and see which performs better, super fast test
I feel like any mode of DLSS operates better for me overall. I swapped back to performance mode for a little bit but I started to experience mild hitches which I guess was normalized for me previously. I have a 4060 venus 2x and used to get 500-800fps before but now I get 300-400fps so I’m just testing out different drivers now to see what’s up so far 537.58 gives me lots of frame drops but I’ll keep trying the other ones

It could also be the game the you are playing. Like updates that’s new to the game could have instilled more shaders or something which causes less fps. Though 300-400 fps is still a lot and you don’t need more than 240 honestly
Maybe 472.12 would potentially be pretty good since thats an older driver too. I'd have to check the rest of the drivers and make sure theyre still compatible with the 730gt. That was my first gpu btw :)

try to factory reset you prob messed up something and just do simple tweaks like with hone and Chris Titus and some other debolater tool since your specs are fine

still trying to go back to my old performance and i think i m bout o lose it.. After installing the drivers you recommended i given up and installed the last nvidia official driver and same result: frame drops reaching 20 fps unplayable. + the first time i tried to install the last driver some wierd error occurred but i manage to install it. Is formatting the laptop and reinstalling windows the right thing to do?

Why you don't cap your framerates to lower overall system latency. By your system it looks like you could cap it at 240, and get perfect frametimes.

Disable adverting stops the ads while installing the driver.

You shouldnt need to worry about it, use msi afterburner to adjust your fans/fan speed

You definitley dont want to set your texture filtering to high performance, threaded optimization to auto as well.

i think some of it is nvidia control panel settings

1 week ago i upgraded from a gt 1030 to a gtx 1660 ti and since then ive been having stuttering on fortnite, any other game i play runs normally, do you know what it could be? I cleaned my old drivers using DDU before installing the 1660
If you go back to your old gpu do the stutters leave? Thats a good first place to start. Join my discord linked in desc so its easier for help as well
I use 1660ti and i found out that 496.49 is the best driver for me i was getting about 300fps max but with 496.49 i get about 400fps max on valorant
Hey khorvie, I’ve got an 3070 laptop gpu, Intel i7 11370 4-Core, and 16G RAM. Should I use performance mode or DX12 with Nvida Dlss on performance. Also, I saw something online saying the rgb on your Keyboard affects your cpu load is that true?

Khorvie im playing low latency off in nvidia settings bc its working better for me, should I play nvidia reflex on+boost or also off in Fortnite? on+boost feels like a bit more stuttery but i dont know exactly whats better

What are your specs and are the drops random or are they in high motion, looking at a certain poi, etc?
@@khorvietechhey thank you for replying, I have a ryzen 7 5800x, GeForce rtx 3050 and 32gb 3800mhz ram and nothing goes over 40 percent usage. If I stand somewhere the fps randomly drop and if I move its the same. Its really frustrating bc before 2 days everything was smooth and I changed nothing.

try to factory reset you prob messed up something and just do simple tweaks like with hone and Chris Titus and some other debolater tool since your specs are fine

bc i was a bit dumb and forgot my last driver i was having 165 constant fps with little drops at 120
Might be able to get it back with a restore point
still trying to go back to my old performance and i think i m bout o lose it.. After installing the drivers you recommended i given up and installed the last nvidia official driver and same result: frame drops reaching 20 fps unplayable. + the first time i tried to install the last driver some wierd error occurred but i manage to install it. Is formatting the laptop and reinstalling windows the right thing to do?
