i think they were allowed to particapte in the EPS since there werent that many leagues around at the time. at least Blizzard mentioned this is an ESL match at 19:26
@AncientCS they had their own EPS :-) the "alps EPS" were Switzerland and Austria had one EPS together. Blizzard mentioned that after the rules of the ESL, the game is over.
@@whenmoonsir but did they have their own league at that time? i think that happened later, there was also the austrian team Infernum in the EPS at that time. and in that timestamp i posted, Blizzard said that they have play all rounds in the ESL (the game was over at that time, mouz just won their 16th round since they had won 5 rounds as CTs) but they were told to play the remaining rounds in the ESL. for some reason some leagues insisted that all rounds were played even when the game was already over.
