Never understood the hype behind the Claymore, but then just recently I started on Dark Souls 1. I understand it now. This is perhaps the greatest strength weapon ever made.

Claymore fell off in Elden Ring a bit because of how good the psuedo-combos are on the other greatsword moveset imo. But it’s still a fantastic weapon for trading if you build around its thrust attacks. It definitely now has a distinct playstyle necessary to maximize its efficiency, which is cool. Although I do miss it being the ultimate all-rounder greatsword that it was throughout Dark Souls.

My favorite Faith Sleep setup
St. Trina's torch? Yeah it's goated, Chase is missing out
Unironically an Arcane Faith Level 150 build with the Ripple Crescent Halberd with Sleep Grease + Incantation support with things like Black Flame Protection and Blessing of the Erdtree, use it with the Dragon Communion Seal and blow people up with Honed Bolt and Lightning Spears.

Hey Chase! Love your videos man, i watch them every single day after i get home from work. I've never suggested a build before since you do pretty much everything, but i think it could be pretty cool if you did a great sword and offhand reduvia arcane build. I bet it's pretty solid but i haven't tried it yet. ALSO, I'd love to see you play my first build that I played through the game with (Elden Ring is my first fromsoft game). The build is "Bucket Head the Bold" it's the Great helm and altered banished Knight set, it's what i picked up in stormveil my first time through and thought it looked like a hero in an anime lol. As for the weapon, Bucket Head two handed the knights cavalry halberd with a strength build, since i had no idea how to actually build anything else at the time lol.
I'd love to see you try it, it looks so goofy hitting emotes, but also like your the protagonist as well. Anyways, keep up the good work man. Love the vids

chase causes enemies to switch strats. chase pulls out the bow. enemy morale crumbles.
Your gear swapping never fails to impress me. I do well to swap out weapons quickly, and you swap out gear and talismans just to heal and then swap them back so quick that sometimes I don't even notice. It's mostly due to my poor inventory management. I very rarely invade, but I get invaded frequently, so I keep anything I need and more that I don't need, but think I might at some point on my person.

14:15 if u have some level points to spare u can use the ruins greatsword for straight lines, or u can use vaccum slice too, but does not have a good range. Both will do good on str. Build.

I'm curious ChaseTheBro, do you use a mod like map for goblins offline, pick everything up, and then go online for your videos? As far as I'm aware, stuff like string and sacramental buds are of limited quantities but you always seem to have loads on your characters so I was wondering what your farming methods were for limited consumables and for pickup items in your multiple playthroughs as to not miss anything you need. Love the videos btw
15:57 you can give them golden vow if you use a gloden greatarrow on the groun next to them, but i think it takes the bubble off tho

I don't know if I missed it, but what combination do you use in your flask of Wondrous Physick? and what combinations do you use in other builds? Benn watching a lot of your content and am enjoying replicating a lot of the builds.
Will you ever incorporate duels into your builds? Would help to see how they are for True PVP.
I sacrifice another 2 points into dex usually. Lets you have the 20 dex needed for urumi and antspur, both are solid on strength builds despite their scaling
My builds aren't meta enough imo but I've been having a lot of fun with a 180 vanguard faith build: 60vig 40dex 80faith. Max cast speed with radagons icon. Rest of the points is personalized! 🎉 Good Luck Have Fun 🎉

The more you do it, you'll get a much better sense of all the nuances of backstabs. Like angles, recoveries, whats punishable, etc.
20:33 have you considered using a sleep build, but you made it extra cool by only using non-weapons, like a torch. Specifically use a torch.
Give it to us straight Chase. What STR weapon are you using 3v1 if you run out of flasks?

14:30 for the straight line what about corpse wax cutter on something? Or even RGS? ... Use your grafted sword buff to get the stats for it like when you swap to Radahn.

Cant wait to see how you evolve when you start using the new weapons in the DLC Chase, not to mention how youll change your approach to PVP when FIGHTING against the new stuff, its gonna be awesome to relearn the game again, no matter what kind of BS broken stuff gets used, you just know all the casuals are going to flock to the "New Meta" or whatever some crappy youtuber claims to be "The best weapon in the DLC" and then everyone follows suit like a bunch of sheep.
I can see you use all the broken stuff yourself to fully understand them, then learn to counter people using the same things, i bet youll learn how to counter it on day one.

Kind of similar to stormblade, but I am told it comes out faster and has quicker projectile speed. Does Braggart's Roar buff AoW damage?

Hey Chase, why not add 1 stat into INT so you can use Ruin's Greatsword by using Oath of Vengeance? That way you can use Ruins Greatsword with 16 INT in a straight line you said in 14:14.
Yeah i was debating that as well. Id also end up heavy rolling when the oath of vengeance wears off. Id have to adjust my weight load a bit but probably worth it!
