    I'm in Australia and owned an old compact Kubota for 22 years. Loved my old Kubota! It was a reliable tough little machine that did everything I asked of it. When looking for a new tractor I came across the Kioti, which isn't such a well known brand in Australia. After doing extensive homework on the Kubota and Kioti, I bought the Kioti and it is a beautiful beast!
    Both machines are great but it was the many 'little things' that, for me, really set the Kioti apart from the Kubota.
    Marshall has covered most of those things in this excellent comparison. No regrets, and servicing the Kioti is very straight forward. 😊

    Great comparison. Thank you for doing this! I bought a CK3510. I really did not compare to the Kubota before I bought, I just knew the Kubota would cost more. I have 112 hours on my Kioti and have been very pleased with it. My initial decision really had more to do with our local dealers than the tractor. I think I picked the right dealer and the right tractor for my needs!

    When I compared these two models a few years ago I was surprised to see the kioti rops didn't clear under a 8' door by a few inches. Ended up getting a L2501 and it barely clears my 8' door without dropping the rops

      Same here, need to fit under 8' and the kubota fits. Doing woods work I also was looking for hardlines under the tractor which the kubota has, kioti has too many exposed softlines for the work I do with my tractor

    I think you did a great job in the comparison without making it a 30 minute video . I was considering the coyote but the dealer was a little too far. The Kioti definitely has some wins in the comfort Department over the Kubota. I ruled out the John Deere 3025e, that was a joke. It looks like a toy when you sit the Kubota next to it. Reason I went with Kubota was reliability. Just like if buy a Toyota truck . Its not the fanciest but you know you're getting the reliability. With that said I would also consider the Kioti any day.

    I like where Kioti is heading and I really liked the SE version of the DK series I tested. BUT, they still need to prove themselves long-term before I drop $$ on one. A more established brand might cost more up front, but ultimately be cheaper to own if it depreciates less and is easier to maintain and has less downtime. Having a good warranty isn't a replacement for quality. Even if a problem is covered, having to haul it to a dealer or schedule an in field repair is a PITA I am willing to pay more to avoid.

      @@D-OveRMinD they've only been in America since 1986, have less than 500 dealers nationwide (most of which are joint dealers for New Holland) and haven't had much of a presence until fairly recently. You have an odd/wrong understanding of "forever" and a tractor is more than just its engine. What is parts availability like 50 years down the road like more established brands? How do axles and hydraulics hold up over time and how easy are they to service? Those are unknowns with Kioti

    • @D-OveRMinD
      @D-OveRMinD 2 года назад +5

      @@Noah_E They've been making agricultural equipment since 1947. Daedong started off as a steel company, so they have decades of experience making everything from the metal to the engines. They literally make tractors for Bobcat, Cub Cadet, JCB, Landini, McCormick International, New Holland, and others. Kioti as a brand just happens to be their internal brand for their own non-outsourced tractors. For instance, the Bobcat CT235 literally is a Kioti CK3510 with a different paint job.

    The Kubota has nearly ZERO roolback on the "1960's style loader. They saved $150.°° on having NO amplifying bucket-linkage assembly's. Kubota's Stearing linkages design is from the "1950's"; SO WAY behind the times;- at Least they don't use ropes! Kubota at least has TWO BRAKE PEDALS. Come on Kioti, cheeping out on ONE MEASLY BRAKE pedal & what's with that "last minute thought " on the " crammed in" back seat fuel tank. Both of these rigs need to learn from each other.

      The LX2610 is a bit more decked out with better features but is not in the same chassis size or weight class. Both these tractors are what the manufacturers compare to each other and both weigh within 100-200lbs of each other. The LX is roughly 600-800lbs lighter. This video was not made to Bash kubota in any way the Lx and the L series are both good machines. I have been asked many times to do a video on this. No, it's just that Kioti stomps a mud hole in Kubota in standard features, pto and hydraulic power, comfort, and price. If you want to pick a higher end Kubota, might as well compare it to the more decked out CK2610SE version then. It would still lose in features. The CK2610 is the BASIC version of the Kioti.
