It's funny, a part of the reason I put the camera there was to see if Daffy was still roosting with her bad leg. I was half expecting her to sleep each night in the nesting box but I was pleased to see her still making the leap.
No better channel on RUclips for being entertaining and providing tip after tip for working on your own boat. The only person who probably doesn’t like danger marine is my boat mechanic. Well now my ex boat mechanic, as I work on my own boat these days, after watching all these videos. 👍
Adrian is a great addition to the Dangar Marine channel. He has the most quirky sense of humour. Who would have thought that you would play the straight guy!

Hi Stu & Adrian Thank you once again for the great video it’s good to see you work hard but you have a lot of fun doing it once again I love the banter you guys had together Cliff from Logan City Queensland Australia
Amazing! You've both inspired me to fix my old boat! Several trial and tribulations later she's like new again! Whew! Glad that's over! Thanks for the show, always good to watch!
Another quality effort Stu and Adrian. Reminiscent of the mighty green machine. As always the finishing touch for a great weekend is an episode of Dangar Marine. BTW I buy Sikaflex by the carton. All the good stuff is sold by the carton.
I'm working on one of these engines right now. It's had water in the fuel, so the vapor separator is full of crud and corrosion. I'll replace the whole unit, it's shot. I put the injectors through the ultrasonic cleaner as they didn't look too bad. Hope to have it up and running again this week. They're pretty good engines, overall.
I see some of your Chin Hair has acquired the Wisdom Colour. In March 1986, I remember replacing my Teleflex Helm which used the same spiral Cable, which I thought was weak, with a Ride-Guide System that had a Rack and Pinon Block to which a Braided Cable was attached. Far less Play in the Ride-Guide. Did the Swap at the dealership after hours, the Mechanics and Parts Manager did most of the work, and the upper motor mounts were loose, so off came the Powerhead, and the Mounts were tightened, with Red Loc-Tite. An improperly balanced SS prop may have loosened them. Cost for all that work was a Bucket of KFC and some Beer.
In 2001 I was on the MV Betty Wood working for TECO ocean shipping and we were pulling into the Port of Tampa with a load of coal and all of a sudden the port engine bogged down. Now this is a huge 150 ft ocean going tug pushing a 500 ft Auto bar barge. It had twin EMD engines 20 cylinders each with Falk gearboxes. We had to Anchor and wait for divers to come out to unfoul the screw. We had picked up a huge line and it took them hours. Fortunately it didn't happen when we were maneuvering as it's tough to do it with one engine.
Man what a cool old boat! The other one back next to it was nice too! Love old v-hulls. Ya'll doin vids together is the best entertainment on youtube! lol. Non stop laugh riot. keep up the great content stu. Thanks for sharin!

On Millenium Quinnies 20 odd years ago check for electrolysis between the stringers and hull. That has been an issue with them caused by a couple of key things. One, the alloy used to stretch form the hull wasn't that great, and two, carbon based rubber between the stringers and hull lead to electrolysis corrosion. A mate had his hull replaced at 2 years old! That was an interesting story in its own right.
