There are two types of sinks. Those that leak underneath.... and those that are going to leak underneath. If you own apartments (multi-family) or own a single family residence this simple item and about 5 minutes could potentially save you hundreds of dollars in damages when that leak finally happens.
If you have rotted areas under your sink in the kitchen or wish to prevent the sink rot all together this is the only true way to prevent it.
A place where do-it-yourselfers: home owners, apartment owners, and others can share knowledge and experiences for all things home repair. YOU ARE WELCOME here. INSPIRE, GROW and maybe learn something.

Can you do a video on how to replace the floor of the cabinet before adding the mat?👍😊

If I get one that is damaged bad enough… then sure. This works as a preventative measure as much as a “fix”.

If you have one that is badly damaged you can usually salvage part of the floor… cut out the bad sections and place a piece of plywood down that is the measurements of the inside of the cabinet first… then top it with a protective mat to prevent it from happening again. If the entire bottom is gone… ( seen it…). You have to stub up the floor with a 2x4 frame first and then add plywood… then the mat. It’s not hard but until I have a bad one you will have to wait. Sorry :-)

Is there a reason why you don't silicone the front edge of the mat as well to keep water from seeping under it?

How do you make the back of the installed mat higher than the front to allow water to flow to the front and out? I didn't see where you may have indicated that? Thank you!

Run a bead of caulk along the back and side edges… water runs to lowest point :-)

How hard is cleaning those dimples?

If it’s caulked in. And you happen to spill. Water and scrubbing with a soft bristle brush and wipe out. Should not be hard. If not caulked in… remove and spray off.

My cabinets are L shaped and the sink sits right in the corner. I need a piece that is roughly 48" X48" then I'll have to cut it to fit right. Just can't find any that large. Can you piece two of these together then caulk the seam?

I would not see why that would be an issue. As long as the seam is not higher than the caulking along the back side the water will always run to the lowest point.
