I never expected Honda City RS to be fuel efficient. Anyway, I have a 2003 Vios 1.5G (MT) and is one of the best 1.5L car engine so far. Bought it brand new in 2003 at 600K. With this car so old, I am still getting 17Km/li highway and 15km/li city driving. Not bad.
I can atest that mirage HB ang matipid sa gas. Imagine 1k worth of gas balikan sa calamba and makati for 3days. Not to mention i use it during rush hours because of work
Can you give us the reason why there is a discrepancy between the honda city V and RS? Parehas lng nmn engine nila and yet mas tipid si RS? Don't get me wrong I own a RS variant pero parang there is something fishy about this content
and to think, if RS, may mga body kits that would add to the weight. hopefully, they computed these cars manually by topping up gas, driving and topping up again. previously kasi, i learned that they base their numbers on what's indicated in the guage. sobrang inaccurate nun e, i always lose about a km/l vs manual computation. I'm thinking, hindi kasama s computation ang use ng aircon, something I'm not willing to experiment on, lol.
@Kp22 Vlogs oh wow... thanks for the info. last time kasi may tinignan kami RS, mas mabigat, ung Brio, hehe. it's about 30kgs heavier kaya akala ko same s city. actually, malaki difference ng almost 400kgs, maybe that's where all the efficiency came from. kaingit kayo, while I'm around 8kms/l combined, usually p nasa 7, haha

It appears that Chinese brands are influencing the global trends in car design and specifications. The new city, civic, and even the almera really have this chinese'que appearance. The thing that amazes me is the price offerings for these chinese brands. A real bang for one's buck. However, considering also that there is no real basis for determining long term use and reliability of these newer chinese units and given also that availability of spareparts for them is still an issue, I'll pass on them for now. Maybe after 10 to 15 years, i'll consider trying them. As of the moment, japanese brands are still the safer bets. But japanese brands must put their acts together, chinese brands are coming really really close.
It will just be a matter of time before the world will refuse China brands as Xi Jingpin continues to support Putin in the brutal Ukraine war. More than 20,000 civilians have already been killed, 4 million displaced refugees, trillions of dollars in destroyed cities. (More than 750 western brands have stopped operations in Russia: Starbucks, Nike, Adidas, McDonalds, Ikea, Intel, Apple, Sony, LG, Panasonic, Hyundai, Samsung, BMW, Ford, GM, Honda, VW, Toyota, Nissan, Boeing, Airbus, etc.). These companies sacrificed billions of dollars in revenue to show opposition to war and the aggressiveness of dictatorial regimes. Boeing and Airbus airliners, in time, will not be able to fly because of lack of maintenance and parts. Ford, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Hyundai, Toyota, etc. vehicles will have the same problem, no spare parts. We live in different time...We cannot ignore that Russia and China are aligned autocratic countries against the democracies of the world. The CCP is now starting to build 100 nuclear missile silos to deter and intimidate countries from helping to defend Taiwan, just like how Putin is threatening Europe with nuclear warfare. What happened in Ukraine will give the CCP, the opportunity to do the same in Taiwan and the possibility of a similar operation in the South China Sea. A product cannot be separated from its Country of Origin, the reputation of the government and its corporate governance greatly affects the image of the products. Stop every centavo from going to the Chinese Communist Party. Stop funding their military. There is no real private company in China since the right of personal ownership is not absolute like in democratic countries. People can own things only to the extent that the CCP allows and they must fully comply for any request made by the CCP - technically everything is owned and controlled by the CCP. Nothing moves in China without CCP approval. - e.g. Jack Ma.

It would have been interesting to see how Hyundai's Diesel variant of the Accent would compare with this list.
We average 22-25 kms/L.
I think this video just to boost the sales of the cars shown here..

Paki explain bakit magkaiba yung fuel consumption ng Honda City V 1.5 CVT and Honda City RS 1.5 CVT? Di ba parehas sila ng engine?
Magkaiba sila ng weight
Natest nyo din po ba ang Toyota Raize? Or sadyang di sya nasama sa top10?
Nice and informative content, thanks for sharing this upload 👍
Hhh
magkano kaya binayad ng mga maker ng featured cars

Agree, combined city and highway is almost worthless.
City RS more efficient than V variant? they have the same engine. RS being 7 kgs heavier than the V variant.
yeah, it’s same engine and same ecu setting. only cosmetic upgrade between 2 variants but the results are huge different. LOL 😂
