  • Don't be foold by rotating the flywheel for the index marks and thinking you'R are on top dead centre to adjust valve clearance gaps. You might be on the compression stroke. It means that the piston is going down on the stroke and the intake valve is opening up to let air and fuel into the combustion chamber..Rotate the flywheel once again anti-clock untill you find both rocker arms with even free- play at top dead centre unlike my first attempt.Resetting valve clearnce is as not as easy as it looks.Ther are allot of vids online but very few actualy know this or even bother to mention the false dead centre and the true top dead centre with both rocker arms with the same amount of free play ON either the intake or the exhaust adjuster screw. If you get it wrong your motorcycle will run poorley and stutter as you open the throttle . The valves will not open and close on the correct timing. You may start to blame other things like clutch slip and spark plug not firing e.g.Rather take it to proper dealership if you are not shore about yourself.Watching a utube vid and doing it yourself are 2-differnt things and i am just giving you a clear and present warning.Do this at your own risk.Doing valve clearence looks easy on utube but i can ashore you its NoT

Rather take it to your mtotorcycle shop. Most of you who view this vid realy dont know or undersatand what i am talking about.Resetting valve clearence is not for anybody who watches a utube vid.

i will not make a vid on how to adjust valve clearence gaps cause you realy gotto have a feel with your hands on how to use a feeler gauge.Watch all the vids you want but you have to get the feel for it or your motorcycle engine will clatter as the gaps are to big and you may damige your engine
