I really like this episode.. Love Frank.. Crissy too Season 7 and we still got a new monster. Monster of the week is like a palate cleanser Frank smiles through it.. Dean generally growls through things. My eyes always get wet for that final scene and I can never listen to that Bad Company song, Dear Mr Fantasy, without seeing Dean trying to smile through the grief.
Dean is always on the side of keeping kids innocent!!! He knows that her kill would have her marked. He knows the trauma of a first kill! She was younger than him!!
This episode bothers me just because of how Dean-focused it is. I wouldn't have minded if Dean had the deep talk with Frank and Sam bonded with Krissy. But no, Dean gets the Frank talk AND the Krissy talk and they only throw Sam a bone by letting him kill one of the monsters.
Your right on the money there and it also bothers me, and I'm a diehard Dean fan. One of the problems with Sam past season 5 is the writers make him to stable which deprives him of emotional moments. What I hated about Bobby's death (aside from it happening) was all of the grieving struggles is put on Dean. Sam is sad about Bobby dying but he's processing it much better and faster than Dean, which always felt off to me. As for Krissy, I too would rather Sam bound with her most the episode and some development while Dean bonded with Frank and came to Sam's rescue. But I can understand why the writers did it this way, since Dean is a natural caregiver and bonds better with kids, still would've liked for Sam to give it a try.
I loved this episode. It was true to both of their characters. Sam doesn't bond with kids very well, Dean does. Sam tends to handle his grief in a healthier way than Dean does, so this episode makes sense. Some episodes are more Dean heavy, and some are more Sam heavy. They are not always equal between the brothers.
@@stephaniecasey9100 Most of the show is Dean-heavy. He's always the focus of more drama. Sam has Lucifer hallucinations and yet right now, the show seems to care more about Dean's heart not being into hunting anymore. Which is the bigger problem here? It bothers me that when it comes to side characters, Dean has all the "moments" and deep conversations and Sam doesn't get any. Dean is closer to Bobby, Castiel, Death, their mom in time travel episodes and here, Krissy and Frank too. Who does Sam get? Ruby, Lucifer and Becky. Villains and sex pests. Sam needs a lot more than he gets.
@@Wannabe_Baby Meg and Yellow eyes in seasons 1 and 2 were Sam focused. Yes they were villains, but really good recurring villains. I do think that the writers try to even it out between the two main leads. Sometimes the story just tends to lead them towards one character over the other as it did in this case.
Yeah teenagers with sticks up their asses always annoyed me, especially when they're rude to people trying to help them. They have no idea how lucky they are that someone gives enough of a shit to help them. So many people out there who can't get anyone to help them while these brats are so spoiled they insult you just for trying
Watching Dean practicing his smile at the end will never not hit me in the feels.
💔💔
Dean always has the best relationship with kids of the pair no matter how depressed he gets
he really does
Frank is such an icon. We love him, he is our conspiracy crazed legend.
Ngl I love Frank. That "I call it being professional" line always gets me.

Great song choice when Dean is trying to smile. I'm crying again.
I love how Sam riled that girl up so she wouldn't feed on the other dude. He's a hero to his very core.

The show: "Stay in the car"
Her: "Chuck"
Me: "I understood that reference!"
I just got myself the blu rays for Chuck last Christmas💙
This is the episode that put Frank on many peoples lists of favorite characters.
One of my favorite episodes
Frank is something else
Dean becomes obsessed with finding out how to take down Roman, Sam helps a teenager search for her father Chambers, a hunter who disappeared.
Did you cut your hair? And dyed it?
i think it's just in a bun or a ponytail, but it looks dyed
@@TappersTay ooh ok thanks
