The nukes have flown and zombies blown. The world survives and three new clans arise. The story is told via a series of emergency warnings, propaganda broadcasts, internal intelligence reports and directives.
This video is essentially a compilation and continuous edit of the previously released Path videos and contains several new sequences - this time allowing the viewer to see them in the correct timeline and context of the story.

CUT: “God DANGIT TOKYO! Why do you become a traitor so suddenly?”
The Path: “JUST.. We’re done. This darn planet always gets worse.. Nuke the Magno-Loop..”

Assuming that the start of this story, (the first Australian warning), takes place in 2017-2018, 2034 would be a wrong guess. At 18:44, it says, 20 years later, making the year at least 2037/2038. At 27:14, we see in the CUT's broadcast, that XMNV has been in existence for 20+ years, which means that between that time, a few years may have passed, but let's stick with 2037/2038. At 42:43, the time jumps several years later. There is no date/number associated with this, so at best I'd have to guess this would be 3-7 years later. So at bare minimum, the year would have been 2040. But this only accounts for the written time jumps, and with the technological advancements (The magnoloop, TC's testing of zombies, etc.,), as well as the fact that we don't know how time goes by, as we only see alerts, broadcasts, etc., I would guess that the year is way higher then this.
Also don’t even bother about the year being inaccurate.

I’ll be critical here for a moment, I love this EAS story, both parts show a level of dedication and detail put into them that makes them more grounded in reality and realistic, which I enjoy. From beginning to end I felt like I was in that world, this fan made EAS reminds me a lot of World War Z... for different reasons, that I enjoy. The only thing I will say is this fan made EAS major flaw is how he presented the zombies. At first, he did an amazing job at presenting the zombies, the way they acted and were advancing and spreading the virus was fantastically executed, and the inclusion of animals being susceptible to infection was a nice addition, it just added on to the uniqueness of this virus. Then, the virus started mutating. With your mutations dude, I think you went a little overboard: human zombie hybrids, titan stalkers that look like flying devils, flying human zombies, then the super heavy zombies, the hyper giants, then plants were somehow infected and were able to spread the virus, the zombie human spider hybrids, then the last mutation before the end, the zombie mutant mothers that were able to hold onto a lot of mutant babies, like honestly at this point it wasn’t even zombies anymore, it was straight up alien shit. Because of that, the realism of this story suffered because of that, I became a little disconnected from the zombies because they were mutating so unrealistically. The end was great though, it was an depressing ending for all the right reasons. So overall, a great Zombie story with a great and fitting ending, I respect your decision on how you approached your virus and how it will act, but next time take this into consideration, just tone it down a little with the mutations.

I've never been this invested in the EAS Community before.
Whether the series continues or if other projects take hold, your work is and always will be top-tier, Mr. Yarnold. My hat off to you.

WOW. Just WOW. Matt, you are truly the most skilled EAS maker in the community. All of the little details you put in are incredible. The story in these videos is also brilliant. Each faction having an end goal. (SPOILERS) The Path wanting to end X.M.N.V and restore the world, The Commonwealth wanting World Domination, but setting off a cataclysm in the process, and the Tokyo Confederacy as this weird, super-scientific nation, seeking to enhance X.M.N.V instead of destroying it (Reminds me of Umbrella and the Progenitor/T-Virus from Resident Evil). Also, the ending. The ending got my eyes wide open, which does not happen often! Bravo Matt.
I have a few questions for you as well:
1. Could the Path have possibly use the Track and Target mode to destroy the missiles?
2. How advanced would the technologies of the C.U.T be compared to the other states?
3. Where did you originally come up with the idea of the Zomie EAS series?

1: Possible, but there might have been too many missiles for track and target to deflect in time, so they said screw it im taking you with me.
2: I'd say they are a bit more advanced in rebuilding. PATH is focused on innovation, thus the magno-loop and being the first to broadcast.

This video is f0cking amazing! The storyline, the effects, the zombie species, the creativity you’d need to come up with this! This is different from most zombie scenarios, but I love it! Amazing scenario! This is my favourite EAS ever, I’m even considering them as a 2 part movie they’re so good!

I had to watch this again because it's that good. I absolutely love your work Matt, you put so much some damn detail in all of your work and I really respect you for that. I've been watching your work for a while now and you have really brought inspiration for me to start my channel, along with other creators. Recently I have lost my motivation to make any scenarios due to some unnecessary hate towards me in this community but watching this helps me bring it back a bit and I can't thank you enough for it Matt! I'm quite impressed by this series. Extremely well thought out, the artwork is thorough and convincing, the audio perfect.
In all honesty, since I knew more about The Path, I was leaning toward joining them. lol.
Holy crap, did NOT see that coming! Although when Total Destruction Mode was mentioned I wondered if it was foreshadowing lol. Seriously though you should like take this to Hollywood or something. I think that one hell of a movie could be made out of this! Awesome job! :)

Moral of the story, if you manage to develop a cure for a deadly virus, find a delivery system that ISN'T cruise missiles. The Path is probably the least awful faction, but what did they expect if they delivered the cure the way they did?
they probably had no other way.

The world was doomed from the start of those 2 societies using zombies as weaponry anyways lmao. They were messing with too much power out of their control. Rather than co-developing on a cure together, they decide, nah lets make these as weapons. The only sense of normalcy from the previous world was their need for fuckin wars of course.
Or let's think of an alternate scenario like All PATH, CUT, and Tokyo Confederacy all deploy cure missiles but they all misidentified them as biological or nuclear missiles. It's imaginary and quite funny.

I already left a silly comment, but this is one of the best made EAS videos I’ve ever seen. The amount of effort it must’ve taken to make all those logos, all the different channels, all the story behind the Path makes me tired just thinking about it! I really liked the Path organization, super interesting
We REALLY need something for Fallout New Vegas or Fallout 4 that makes this an actual thing in those games. Just think about it. You the player getting to re-live all these key moments in the game, except YOU get to choose who rules ( or destroys ) the world. Does the Path rule? Does the C.U.T. rule? Does the Confederacy rule? Or do you overthrow all 3 major powers and take the planet for yourself? Do you cure the virus or weaponize it? And just how many mutants will you destroy along the way?
It's perfect material for a Fallout-styled post-apocalypse RPG game.

the fact that the last couple ones for the President have the text slowly trailing more and more so combined with the heartbeat noises make it all feel like you're losing your vision is a glorious little detail

C.U.T. and Tokyo Confederacy: Well, explain yourself! We want to know what you have to say.
Path: Well-

C.U.T and Tokyo Confederacy: Oh... So this was all a giant misunderstanding. But couldn't you have at least, you know, made it NOT a missile? I mean, we obviously thought that you were going to attack us with a missile because you didn't send it up to our leadership.
Path: Well, we wanted to be rid of this virus, right? Our planes would have been taken down by the flying zombies and titan stalkers. Making a plane that would have flown faster, higher, or been more heavily armed would have taken at least ten years of R&D, if not more. Not to mention the zombies would have destroyed us all if we were on the ground, so we would have had to make the planes explode or drop cure bombs.
*C.U.T and Tokyo Confederacy make amends*
Path: So we thought that you were going to attack us. That's why we initiated Total Destruction Mode. So, we destroyed the world for nothing.
*a few moments of quiet thought on what just happened*
Tokyo Confederacy: Hey, you wanna grab some lunch?
CUT and Path: Yeah! I'm starving.

To cut the CUT some slack, the way the cure was deployed was unconventional and quite a threatening one. Perhaps if given an advanced warning or perhaps give the cure to the CUT and it’s officials to distribute it themselves. Maybe firing missiles into another persons territory isn’t the best way to send a good message.

Also The Path: We do not know how to communicate and work with others to distribute it so we just launch some sus missiles that will 100% be seen as friendly.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Path: Total Destruction Mode Engaged.

There's a number of things that make the last part of this scenario scary.
First off, it is stated in the Know Your Magno-Loop segment that the Complete Destruction mode must only be used when there is no option and hope for humanity to survive becomes lost. In the end, that's exactly what happens. But it's made even more threatening when the alert tells you "The Earth must be returned to the heavens." At this point, you're imagining the members of The Path saying to themselves "This can't be happening".
Second, the last time the Magno-Loop activates, they don't tell anyone to brace. This further convinces the members that The Path has given up on using their most advance tools to fend off their attackers, especially when the Path, C.U.T., and Tokyo Confederacy start attacking each other because they couldn't come together to discuss and rid the planet of the XMNV invasion once and for all. But from what I can tell, the three surviving organizations don't see eye to eye. So even if one community would meet up with another, they wouldn't be convinced the slightest. That's my guess, but I think other people would differ.
And lastly, when The Path's final alert is activated, you can hear faint rhythmic thumping-- something that almost sounds like a heartbeat. To me, this is the heartbeat of all the members of the Path, who have prepared for their end after seeing that the damage done to their peaceful community is worse than before the first time the Magno-Loop was fired.

Or maybe no XMNV cure at all. Instead, the fighting between the three civilizations persist. All three become more technologically advanced. Eventually the unite together, formulate a cure, and live happily ever after. Creating colonies around Mars and the Moon. New civilizations are formed such as the Lunar Colonies Union with their own EAS system.
Until another mutated XMNV pandemic occurs and all communication from Earth is cut.

I mean, it would be neat to see just how fucked the world is, but I don't think the planet could stand ending a third time. :P I imagine it's not even habitable at this point.
Gray It could be in areas without Path bases, where the loops fired off. But a part 3 would probably only be about covering the holes that expose the earths core.

My idea is that the path had secretly created a self sustaining colony designed to survive the magno-loops remelting the earth and keep the inhabitants alive until the crust reforms.

There would be 3 stories, revolving around the 3 clans.
The gameplay would vary between them. (In what ways I'm not sure). There would also be an extra 4th story (taking place from all of part one, up until the Commonwealth of United Territories and the Tokyo Confederacy show up).
Does anyone else here think that this entire scenario could be turned into a video game, even if it was just a concept?
