Low Rush alone is reason enough to make it worth buying (especially since all releases with normal Rush are either 3-packs, random boosters or customize sets), but this blade is also, like he said, “Record-breakingly heavy.” Pair that up with the aggressive shape and the rubber might genuinely be the only reason it isn’t WizardRod levels of dominant in attack combos.
Ghost circle could have diversified the meta. If it was a little heavier, even if it was lighter than Wizard, could of been an interesting point due to the smaller shape than Rod
A lower ratchet and an actually good bit would also help. Honestly the part choice for that entire booster seems very cheap. Man, look at this! TT is recycling old, bad parts just to fill up their slots while Hasbro is legitimately good quality. I would’ve never believed that back in 2022
Optimistic theory: TT released this now as a "pressure release valve" to allow them to release more bold left spin beys in the future. If the left spin meta gets too dominant, there is this bey built in as an answer with good all-around performance but also spin stealing potential. Honestly I hope that x never has a spin steal left spin unless they intend to make left spin way less uncommon
Loving the look of this one! Its design is very reminiscent of Bound Attacker, while the performace reminds me of when Lightning L-Drago RD145 RF was still meta defining. Only you're not using RF and it shows. Much like the shape and material of R145 caused massive recoil for both sides in Lightning L-Drago's matches, the "rubber attack" of Impact Drake is providing some serious self destructive rebounds here and you really need the extra grip of rubber to stop that. As much as the stamina of Rubber Accel has been abysmal so far, it will definitely maximise the amount of this bey's explosive impact going into the opponent and minimise the recoil it inflicts on itself.
It's going to be interesting to see where the meta goes from here as this bey is going to be far from unbeatable, by the looks of it, but we'll have to see a real shift towards defense types capitalising on that deadly recoil.

9-60 is perfect part yes but they could have made a new ratchet knowing that there is no 8 sided ratchets yet(including the fact that Drake is a four sided an 8 side ratchet would be nice with it in my opinion)

People might make fun of me for this, but I think that impact Drake if paired with the correct stamina bit, could probably make a killer stamina build.

This bey is pretty awesome! I definitely love the design. I dont care much about how it battles though, I just really want to have my own beyblade first before I worry about the competitive side of Beyblade. Still, the battles in the video, so fun to watch!

TT: Releases the lightest and heaviest beys in the same group, so people don't notice impact drake being a chonker That said, the Year of the Dragon ending with a high-power dragon is definitely appropriate. And, as a Year of the Dragon kid, I'm a bit biased towards dragon beyblades. Hell my go-to is Dragoon on Elevate because it's just cool and I'm STALKING my local gamestop because they might finally have Dran Buster. Basically I'm on #TeamDragon and have no intention of swapping sides. (Exception is SharkEdge, my beloved). I'll have to pick this up sooner than later. Probably next monday.
I noticed a pattern in Khromes beys. First, we got COBALT Drake. Then, COBALT Dragoon. We went back to Drake with Impact, maybe the next one will be Impact Dragoon? (And possibly have left rubber) EDIT: I just made it to the end of the video, seems we had the same prediction! 🤣

From what I have seen in other videos, it rips apart ratchets. Once it's low enough to hit the ratchet, it's over.
