i'd recommend using acrylics if you want this to last a long time. some nail varnish turns yellowish after a few months.
I finally have a reason to go into the Christmas section at the store! (I'm not a Christmas person. Halloween had always been my thing. Might make one of these and sneak it into my mother's rustic themed Christmas tree, see if she notices.)
