The majority of Adobe Premiere how-to videos omit to mention spatial interpolations! Thank you very much for the explanation of both spatial and temporal ones!
If you have a path with multiple keyframes with bezier spatial interpolation (like shown on 1:45) how do you make so when adjusting keyframe curves (like on 2:42) it would apply to the whole animation and not every keyframe, so you could have a curvy path and non-standart animation speed at start and finish of a whole animation?
Is there a way to set the default for the spatial interpolation? I want mine to be linear like yours but its set to auto bezier and I have to change it back every time
May i ask that, do we have those beziers when we go for speed ramp or am I missing something? I mean i want to have some additional control over them like speed/value graphs just like in after effects?
i still dont get what these curves represent. is the x axis the time and the y axis the velocity? i always end up with black background showing when i want to change position and scale at the same time :-((((((((
I have a problem.i am using masking but I can't hold the mask steady,it moves all over the place.and key framing isn't smooth enough it looks bad.what am I supposed to do?
Thank you for the amazing tutorial, but for some reason when I click on the motion icon, doesn't appear that line (anchor point), am I doing anything wrong?
Hey great video thanks for sharing this. Always loving the content it is incredible I have been watching you guys since long time. Quick question for keyframes and animation, do you know how I can freeze the In and Out of the adjustment layer or any other animation, so when I want to extend or reduce the clip (duration) the keyframes will just automatically for the duration of the clip? Best regards,
I know this video is a bit old so you might not see this, but I was wondering if you could decrease the amount of inbetween frames that it automatically adds so that it looks like it's going at a lower frame rate. Like instead of changing the position every frame it does it every other frame or even every third frame. I'm going for a hand animated look and the amount of inbetweens makes the movement too smooth giving it a more CG feel. Is there a way to accomplish this without placing all those frames by hand?
@@PremiereBasics Ahh that's cool, learned something new! Thanks for the reply and we really enjoy Premiere Basics, great tutorials and very inspiring! Keep it up!
On top, click the hamburger icon next to 'effect controls'. This will open up a menu and on the bottom, disable pin to clip. Now you can zoom in and out endlessly :)
Hey Gilles, I have been following up with your videos and they are great👍🏾👍🏾 I'm running out of fonts, checking online has been futile Could you show us a couple next week, maybe like 15 cool and simple fonts🤷🏾♂️😀, please reply, thanks😁😁
bro premiere keyframes suck after effects is wayy better like why is it that when i want to start a video with a zoom out, the video goes out of frame when i add some curves to the temporal interpolation for scale and position, but in after effects it's sooo awesome and controllable
PREMIERE KEYFRAMES SUCK AND STINK - it is way faster for me to go into my 3d software, reanimate my 3d objects, render them, comp them in Fusion og the SLOW AND STUPID After Effects, er re-comp everything in PREMIERE.
This man is easy to watch and listen to. I know most of this stuff...except those one or two tricks that make a difference. Good job. Thanks.

Hi cinecom. Haha
