Thanks for the tip, you are right. I still have to use my fingers against the sides of the watch to line it up properly, but at least I don't have to use so much force. Since you are the first to suggest this, I'm going to pin your comment 🙏 😊
I found the same, Charlie. It's much easier when you press the button at the same time. Got my silver 7U yesterday, receiving my white trail band on Monday - should be a decent combo. :) Very nice video WW; the band looks great.
You can (obviously) put the band on either direction, but the official pics have it the other way with the fold at the top. Allows you to pull it towards you when latching.
I ordered the exact same configuration (titanium grey with black trail band) and really love how it looks. Its kinda stealthy and classy. Love it. Nice tutorial. Can't wait to get mine.
Peakform, but more likely the marine band. Personally, the trail band is more comfortable but it holds moisture far too long for me to use and the marine band is too bulky. Bought a 3rd party silicone band
hallelujah ! Finally….Samsung produced an easier watch band system, about time! I can see this being implemented across all models in perhaps the Watch 9 and beyond. Thank you for by far THE BEST and most COMPREHENSIVE content out there explaining the Ultra band’s mechanism, it’s truly appreciated. Personally I don’t mind paying a little extra for these bands as it easily get them on and off is worth every dollar spent. Glad I got the pre order via Sammy to get a free band (Peak Form) just in time for a hot Aussie summer to become come September
So I've had my ultra since the 20th of July and I have the trail band in Gray. It's very functional works very well. But you need to wash it at least every 5 to 7 days. It will dry out overnight very quickly but if you're going to use this band exclusively I would get at least two or three and always keep them washed. Otherwise they will turn into a smelly band of poo around your wrist😅
Thanks for sharing your experience. I agree that having two trail bands is ideal. I wash mine after each workout and can put the dry one on while the other is still drying 😊 👍🏼
I guess I'm a bit of a rule-follower and Samsung's included instruction sheet doesn't indicate that you need to press the button to insert the band (they only indicate using it for removing the band). I guess I'm also used to Apple Watches which have a band release button, but I don't have to use that button to attach the band. But, yes, thanks to some other comments as well, I've practiced attaching the band by pushing the button and it is easier. I still have to use my fingers against the sides of the watch to line it up properly, and there is no (satisfying) click, but at least I don't have to use so much force. Sorry for the confusion and thank you for the suggestion 🙏 😊
Interesting, with the original orange band I pushed the release button then inserted the band then let the release button go till it clicked...either way this is way better than the old pin slide way lol
Thanks for the tip, that is easier. I still have to use my fingers against the sides of the watch to line it up properly, but at least I don't have to use so much force. I agree it's definitely better than the old pin slide way, but I'm also used to Apple Watches and the more recent Fitbits that are even easier than this. Thanks again for sharing your experience. I appreciate it 🙏 😊
i have got my trail band today and I was disappointed as it feels like a piece of sandpaper. Now it is in the masching machine and I hope it will become softer as you mentioned. 🤞
A think to note, I have worn mine every day. Since I got it like a week or so ago. I work out twice a day, and golf. So I'm outside and inside sweating. The band absorbed my BO. So put deodorant on the band before wearing it. I have no clue out to get the smell out. I have washed it. Used alcohol wipes. Ect. Still stinks.
You don't need to force the band in. Just push the release button when you are putting the band in and when you are taking it out. It's not rocket science or some science experiment
You should try putting the band on the same way as taking it off. It is much easier by pressing the button while attaching the bands.

Your very welcome 👍🏻

@JSmith73 I went for the grey with orange, green, grey bands and received the orange trail band free, it's such a fantastic watch, enjoy yours 👍

For the adjustment I just counted the ribs on the band while holding clasp where I want it. Thanks for the video!
You’re welcome 😊

Hope you get yours soon!🤞😊
I got the trail band for free and still haven't tried yet. Samsung Watch Ultra is awesome!
Im wondering, which band would be more ideal for excessive sweat.. this trail band or the peakform band? Say intense hiit session / cardio
Peakform, but more likely the marine band. Personally, the trail band is more comfortable but it holds moisture far too long for me to use and the marine band is too bulky. Bought a 3rd party silicone band
@Waabajack awsome! Waiting for my peakform band to arrive and also will check out some 3rd party ones. Thanks!
Great video because I had a hard time trying to see how this band works. You explained it all. Thanks again!
You’re welcome! 😊

You’re welcome. I’m so glad you found my video helpful. Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know 🙏😊
Thank you so much for this!
You’re so welcome 😊
They already sell adapters for watch bands on amazon so you can keep all your old bands
All the adapter I see is for 22mm, Samsung previous watch is 20mm. Plus it will look odd using your old skinny band on a big watch.
@@SofiaSclafani this it true, unless you have the Galaxy watch classic or pro with the 47mm display, these do indeed have a 22mm watchband.
@@daleksec5109 oh I didn't know that. My old watch was the 6 classic and I thought it was 20mm according to Samsung website when I bought the band.
This band is bloody expensive. Better buy the adapter more cheap
@@daleksec5109 my old watch is the 6 classic and my original Samsung band say 20mm on it
Can i use this for official waers and going to the office?
very helpful, ty 😃
You’re welcome 😊
So are you able to use this band on the older Samsung galaxy watch 6 classic?
No
Great video thanks
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you so much, I couldn't make head nor tail of the instructions it came with to adjust the band size lol
You’re so welcome 😊
Samsung sure did make one sexy looking watch. Nice informative video
Glad you liked my video. Thanks for letting me know 😊
Thank you so much for this because I had no damn clue
🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Most comfortable of all the Samsung Bands for me!
thank you 👍
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you
You’re welcome 😊
What about watch 7 and watch 7 ultra is it interchangable?
There is no “watch 7 ultra”. This band fits the “watch ultra”. It doesn’t fit the “watch 7”. Hope that clears it up.

i like the orange one🥰
if it´s much easier to detach the band while you push that button than why don´t you push it when you attach the band? i´m confused

ASMR😊 best quality this watch

watch looks a 10 BUT would you go swimming with it after knowing that Samsung does not covers water damage ?
There is band adapter available which is good 😊
Throw the strap in the wash, will soften it up a lot. Found it was rather rough, washed it and so much better!

Fold at the top, I prefer.

dots = holes 😅
So overpriced.
