This is very much a beginners lecture, and one designed primarily for those who are coming to the topic from the standpoint of an intellectually-based curiosity. Rinpoche does a good job of redirecting the students' attention toward one of living more deliberately from the perspective of one who is, in reality, living "in the shadow of death," from the context of Buddhist philosophy. However, if you are looking for instruction in, or even a hint about the actual process of dying, and what happens afterwards, you won't find it here. Can't speak to Part 2 because I'm not finding a Part 2. Oh well. Upwards and inwards... (Yes, we could debate the wisdom of releasing the more esoteric teachings into the public forum, but why waste the time? It's unlikely that such would be up to anyone arguing the topic here.)
