  • This is basic Korean grammar series for beginner level Korean language learners. These grammar lessons are useful for people preparing for TOPIK I. In this lesson you will learn how to use 고 있다 and -고 싶다 Korean Verb Endings. 고 있다 is present continuous verb ending which shows that some action is going on currently. 고 싶다 is used to express wish or desire (want to do something).

    Yes but is the 고 conjugation only for these two?? I understand you need to conjugate it for 있어요 and 싶어요. However what about 없어요. and other endings similar to that. When do you need to conjugate?

    But if we want to say that another person doesn’t want to do it, can we say 가고싶않아해요??
