They look fantastic. I love your presentation; lots of detail. I'm also impressed that you've had one of the Tiger's Den practice swords for 10 years! That's quality!
Single hand swords include but not limited to - jian, nuiweidao (oxtail sabre - not military martial arts), liuyedao (willow leaf sabre), Yanmaodao (goose quill sabre), hudiedao (butterfly sword), yaodao (waist sabre), zhibeidao (straight back sabre), piandao (slicing sabre). Two handed swords include but not limited to - Miaodao (spout sabre, modern term), dandao (single sabre), Changdao (long sabre), zhanmadao (horse chopping sabre), modao, wodao. Shuangshoujian (two handed straight sword), yanyuedao (crescent moon sabre also known as Guang dao is a polearm), dadao (big sabre - used one WW2 it’s like a big machete). If you are looking to buy steel swords then check Seven Stars Trading (Scott M Rodell), Hanwei, and from China Ryan Sword. For wooden weapons then Tiger’s Den are my favourite but you could also try Raven Studios. And there are a number of places now making synthetic/plastic swords which are getting better. I prefer wood for sparring and steel sharp for training. You may still find antiques available at auction or from dealers like Seven Stars Trading or Mandarin Mansion but prices can be high for good quality authentic blades and watch out for modern reproductions and fakes at auction.
@@Xingyiacademy I am acutally looking for a wooden liuyedao and I have just looked at your website It was awsome cause the blade part of liuyedao is thick and not pointy
@@Xingyiacademyhow thick are the blades, the thinnest and the thickest? also, you are no longer selling on the website or is that not available outside uk? I cant find where to check out
@@jacktheripper2505 Hi Jack, it's not my website, the guy that runs Tiger's Den is called Graham Cave. I've bought his swords and helped him try out different designs in the past but I don't make or sell the swords. You will have to contact Graham directly.
