Sims Essential : Your problem not related to programming, you must clean soft key flex and it's connectors both side phone and flex. if not work then you may need to replace the soft keys flex
Sims Essential : I don't know your phone model, see disassembly video for your model, open carefully and 1st clean connectors and then replace soft keys flex. better visit your nearest cellphone repair center, if you can do it at home then do at your own responsibility.

If still not ok the open phone and check connector or flex cable
