I’ve just ordered a double breasted long length overcoat from them in navy Alpaca. It cost £535. I hope it looks as good as I expect it to. They have a more automatic measuring method now, using height, weight and age. After the info is calculated, it told me my measurements were accurate. They sounded right, so I ordered, I’m a bit nervous although I’ve had success with online tailoring so far. I ordered the coat based on the material and the sheen that it promised, which was what I wanted from a smart double breasted long overcoat. I don’t like the slightly girly short coat lengths. If it rains, your knees get soaking wet, making the coat of little use. I’m surprised at the quick dispatch time! I’m using the excuse for buying this because my wife got a long sheepskin coat which turned out to be a fantastic bargain at just under £500, when they cost over £1000! I will give an update on my coat when I receive it.
@@cleavelandcoleman1788 My coat turned out to be even better than I expected! It weighs a ton. Honestly many of the overcoats I see online are too short and are lightweights like the androgynous people who wear them. I remember coats way back when they were always heavy and this one is exactly how they used to be. The surface of this 80% wool 20%Alpaca feels so soft and I stroke my arms 😂. It also gets admired by the ladies who also like to stroke it😁😍. The dark red paisley pattern lining looks fantastic too. The coat has a lovely sheen to it which ads to its luxurious look. I feel like a million dollars in it. It fits perfectly and is money well spent.
@@QuintessentialGent how are the fabrics in the chinos? Are they light and summery? And are they strechy? And do they wash out fast? I don't trust the fabrics really much... I like how they look and the feel ist okay, too. But they polyester in most of the fabrics makes me unsure about their attention to good fabrics.
Yo my dude, I recommend recording the video, like, 20 times so you're damned comfortable when presenting. Then just choose from all of the clips, and cut what you like to merge.
Mid thigh is the appropriate shortest length for on overcoat, and is more of a modern length. The overcoat can also have a length of just past the knees, which is the traditional length. The coat should always cover the jacket. If you prefer the longer length, there is an option for selecting that preference.
Nice video. The coat looks very nice. Im trying Hockerty for the first time real soon. Keep it up!
How was your experience? I’m looking to order a coat from them soon.

All in all great review. I’m considering buying an overcoat and wanted to see someone else’s experience in ordering one. Thank you!!
Was looking at their site for a coat. You seem to have the only coat review for them. Thank you for sharing mate!
Thank you so much ! Certainly going to buy a jacket I had in my art
I'm so happy to hear the video helped you! Let me know what you think of the coat after you receive it.

Thanks Obiwansta! I just released a new video today. :)
Is the rght label larger than the left? It looks like it
Good Video!
I am very interested in their Chinos. Do you have any experience with them?
I have a set of chinos from them, and they fit very similar to the suit trousers. Is there anything specific you would like to know?

An overcoat is supposed to go past the knees

50% poly 🤢
They do offer 100% wool coats, but the one I choose was a poly blend. Most coats will have a blend unless otherwise advertised.
