He realizes Caleb is bringing years of Bad Luck to the Bears and countless losses
Bears could have traded the #1 to the Giants for Dexter Lawrence, the 6th pick, next year's 1 and more and built a winning team
That 6th pick could be Nabers or Harrison if he's somehow there at 6. Actual generational talents that work their asses off and looked great against elite competition. You drop them in the slot with the outside receivers the Bears now have....
Justin Fields deserved better than being dumped for a 6th

Are you suggesting that I, who does _NOT_ paint my nails am automatically not a better QB than he? Yeah, this conversation would be stupid if not for a couple of other QBs, Lamar Jackson & Justin Fields, both still being demeaned due to only narratives suggesting anything *they* do affects their playing negatively. It'll never end with them.
Did LJ8 miss _open_ receivers in that game against the Chiefs? No. Yet I can't get even these two co-hosts to not shift from "knowing" it's the play-calling to s****ing on him. As for Fields, these guys know Two Things that exonerate him from all the negative memes they yet perpetuate. 1) They're aware of who Brett Kollmann is ruclips.net/video/QuhUbISnr8s/видео.html. So they know that Fields reads defenses *at an **_ÉLITE_** level.* Statistically proven.
      2) When Fields _suddenly_ started staring at open receivers the meme at the time was that "this" had "been done" to simplify the offense for him.
After two weeks even the stupid majority realized this not only implicated the Bears' coaches, but it made no sense. But *at the time EVERYONE **_realized_* that the Bears had *ordered him not to* throw to certain receivers on certain plays.
They made this obvious when they didn't put him under concussion protocol. They _knew_ he wasn't concussed because he was executing the plays as called.
Everyone dismissed this. Including these two guys. They still do. They have an excellent opportunity to bust a GM & HC who are robbing us of great football., but they prefer to stick to their prejudices.

Everything I laid out was informative in terms of THE ACTUAL REASONS PEOPLE THINK CALEB IS OVER-RATED, instead of your "everyone who disagrees with me is a bigot" argument, stop flinging that horse crap around
I won a Hockey championship and that squad was the tightest group I've ever been apart of. We battled for each other, always were in the right spots for passes and we pushed each other to get better every day. If I had seen somebody sobbing on their mom after a game I'd have never respected them the same after, Real Men don't accept that California SoyBoy mentality from a leader. The second Caleb throws his helmet, cries or pulls an AB his team will never respect him again, hell they aren't gonna respect him before he gets there, his NIL deal made him a spoiled little brat.
The Locker Room wanted Fields, he at least played hard every down, even with pressure in his face (which is something anyone who watched tape on Caleb would know, dude is RANCID with pressure in his face, completed less than 30% under pressure against Notre Dame)
Gonna get skewered by the media and he's gonna throw tantrums, he's Begged for ownership before playing a down. He's a Man-Baby incapable of leading a Franchise and is gonna be a bust GUARANTEED

I honestly think this is more of a media issue than anything else. The way they present Caleb Williams to the public is why the extreme level of hate started. He is presented as a big shot kid, and now a lot of people are using every small detail about him to take a shot. If that story about him asking for power at his future team and the story about him rejecting the Bears weren't released, I doubt the hate would be anywhere close to where it is.

People that are hating on him for that kind of stuff are incredibly stupid imo and I honestly think anyone getting upset about it needs to reconsider what they're taking serious in life and in football. Who cares about how he dresses or what he likes? I'd rather have a QB that paints his nails and likes pink and dresses against the norm on occasion that can play well than a QB who is the most stereotypical manly NFL man that plays like shit. And bullshit about "but he represents my franchise and I don't want that" what you should want is someone who represents your franchise well on the field and toward people considering playing football. If him being comfortable expressing himself how he want while also performing well encourages others to play and be comfortable expressing themselves, then I am all for it.
Literally all I worry about with him or would even criticize him (and all anyone should worry about or criticize him for from what I've seen) for is exclusively his ego and the feeling that he's gonna end up another Manziel. If he's good, props to him for being able to walk the walk, as that happens pretty rarely. But at this point, he seems like his ego is going to exceed his actual performance and he'll be a bust.

The issue is that he's acting like a celebrity rather than a famous pro athlete. I personally don't care, but I can see why fans say they're not interested in a QB that spends time on red carpets. Aaron Rodgers got hated on for being interested in hosting Jeopardy. Tony Romo got hated on for his love of Golf. Kyler Murray is constantly mocked for loving Call of Duty. A lot of fans want a QB that lives and breathes football. That's it.

This story to me seems more like Cam Newton dressing weird. Is this guy's behavior and focus going to be a distraction from football? Similar to Jaire getting suspended for a game last year.
When such a guy is playing great then it is quirky but when the season is going south will it be a headache for the franchise?
Right now when CW is in public, he is auditioning to be the face of a franchise which is part of the QB1 job. In contrast, consider how Love off the field comes across as a fun wholesome guy.
Personally I don't want the conversation to be about CW's fashion choices; instead I want people talking about whether Chicago, Cleveland, or Denver is where a QB1's dreams go to die.
Side note: I blame the media & not players for the distracting storylines.
