I LOVED Lana for Frasier (and not just because she was played by stunning, uber talented Jean Smart😍). They balanced and helped to "refine" each other so well in different ways. Imo, Claire was basically a female Frasier.😄
Agreed her and Frasier were boring together, they would have made nice friends. Absolutely loved Lana then and now, not least because Jean Smart has not only perfect comic timing she is also stunningly beautiful ❤
Niles is the absolute jewel of this show. He's not even involved directly in the funny scenes. Even just as an observer, his facial expressions kill me.
Niles is occasionally very quick, with witty Frasier - stinging responses. Keep viewing. Niles is also my favorite character. Funny that the two Brothers have problems, with all and any relationships, to include the relationship to the self. They huddle together, to stay safe. They are a riot.
I love how Lana helped Frasier become more 'down to earth'. However, he should have stayed with Claire. She seemed so perfect for him. I love this show but Frasier's ridiculous dating habits and indecisiveness became exhausting after a while. Still one of my all-time favorite shows, though.
@@GoldenLight22 Also I do not buy that Frasier would choose Lana over Claire but of course you can say I know people who did. Not saying saying both are zero probabilities but it isn't about opposite not attracting but they are more than opposites. Also writing Frasier to choose Lana over Claire doesn't go well.
@@rc.... We're both still have opposing thoughts, but there is so much that we introduced to our relationship. I'm artsy, she's not. She's a person who loves camping in the bush, I don't. I can play the piano, she...tried. Yeah, this is a little verbose, but I see how he could have been entranced by Lana.
@@Scottie_S Trust me, you do not need to deconstruct the relationship for me 😅 It isn't the first time I do not buy Frasier's choice (writer's), when he chose Fay, I didn't buy that either. Doesn't matter how old you are 🤣 that doesn't change my opinion. It wasn't just that Lana was not his type but throw in Kirby as well, come on! It wasn't because I do not believe in opposite attract! I said that before, Niles already explained it well! Like in most other cases even Martin explained, Frasier would do whatever he pleases = whatever the writers wants it to be. Not consistent with Frasier's personality and past choices. I can understand if he wanted to bed her for his ego's sake but no way Lana would be what tugs his heart, no where in the few episodes did I feel he had a strong feeling for her.
I am guessing you’re in the minority with this belief. I certainly found this dynamic super credible based on my own personal experience. We all look at events through our own personal lenses which makes it credible versus not. No one is right or wrong. But I do feel the majority would agree this is a credible scenario universally. Hence why the show was so popular.
Lana was definitely the most interesting love interest he had. I loved how she didn't hold anything back and yelled when she felt like it. Too finny. She has always been my favorite in Designing Women too. She is beautiful.
Unbelievably futile and soooo funny… thank you for absolutely brightening up my day! 😂 We definitely 💯 NEED more of these longer presentations…🥃 💘👀🎭💋😬❤ 🏹
I was in Claire's shoes once. His family adored me, but he was a a narcissistic, abusive jerk. I still think about his uncle sometimes -- wondering how he's doing. He was a very nice man.
Frasier screwed up so many relationships, and those were he seemed in control, his family ruined them for him. dude should have just gone back with the demon at that point
I havent seen the full episodes in a while but remember when Niles tried to grow a mustache and Daphne tried to wipe it off? And now with Daphne island Niles has a full goatee? Great imagery for love and what it can do.
Frasier never had fun relationships, this one is really weird , he is too eager?? Wat a stupid excuse, frasier just chased, kind of a simp, took me this long to realise
Fräser is so insecure, because only life, can teach you how to make or avoid relationships. His love life is similar to his bicycle riding. Put on your helmet Frasier! He pretends to be something he isn't, as if that would be clever and necessary for romance. Who could stand the pressure of being a 'Crane's brother?' The best 'Sitcom 'psychiatrist'' is their Dad. That's why fate put them together. 😂😂😂
Claire was the BEST suitable mate for Frasier. In the long run, that's who he was most compatible with and who really seemed to care the most about him as well. All the other women, even the last one ("Charlotte" played by Laura Linney) in the show's finale, did not seem to have the true heart connection with Frasier that Claire had.
To be fair if I'd been hankering for good seafood and not only does the waiter tell me my 3 favourite fish on the menu are unavailable but THEN returns to offer a meal you can get in any utility diner at home, I'd have stormed off too. You don't do that to your guests.
Jean Smart by far the BEST as Lana.
The only two I honestly like for him was Faye and Claire…
Lana was a bit of fresh air, she was so much more fun than those snobs he usually dates... SMH...
Jean Smart made Lana iconic

Lana was attractive in a sassy sort of way, but of all his love interests I always thought Claire was the best suited for him.
And what a surprise, Fraiser is alone STILL in the revival show.🙄
Every time things go wrong in Frasier's life he gets all self righteous, indignant and whiny.
If I were Frasier, I’d choose Claire over Lana.
I almost kicked my tv when he dumped Claire
Claire is the calm female version of fraiser. She was too perfect for him
No one’s perfect
Frasier seems to have a fixation with blondes.
@@1ummahabidLilith wasn’t blonde! 😉

He's not bad on the eye either.
I love Niles ❤❤❤
On reflection, I'm glad that Fraiser didn't stay with Claire. She's a gem who deserves better.
Yes, he was too fickle.
Frasier should have stayed with Lana. Claire we know was actually Tammy 1.
I love how Lana helped Frasier become more 'down to earth'. However, he should have stayed with Claire. She seemed so perfect for him. I love this show but Frasier's ridiculous dating habits and indecisiveness became exhausting after a while. Still one of my all-time favorite shows, though.
Lana is a Karen. Frasier is interested in her because he can be a Ken sometimes. 😀
I agree, he was mad to dump Claire. Intelligent, great personality and very good looking.
@@etcetraetcetra3173 Ha, not just sometimes. He's a drama king quite frequently.
I DO NOT believe Claire and Lana would be friends in real life.😂😂
I have known people exactly like this who were friends. My best friend is like Clair and she is friends with a Lana. Opposites do attract

Claire would have been so perfect for Frasier. She had class, brains and finesse.
That Lana, Claire , and Herbie episode was hilarious.
Thankfully the directors changed Lana's personality and character. She's one of my favorites of Frasiers love interests

Lana is hotter, but Claire has more going on.
Which would rather inseminate? Very curious puzzle?
Love the young Sideshow Bob cameos!

Love really has so much to do with timing and the person. Even the family
Funny how everything goes wrong
Ah every nerd in high school who had the hots for the Good looking girl an never got that chance to date her..
I just love Clarie and Frasier..
Loved Lana. Adored Claire.
1:58 Niles’ nervous smile 😂
Everyone even the viewers hated that he left Claire
Epic Frasier tantrum.
Frasier screwed up so many relationships, and those were he seemed in control, his family ruined them for him.

Brilliant
Is Lorna's ex the actor who plays George Mcfly in Back to the Future?
Nope, the actor’s name is Brian Kerwin, you’re thinking of Crispin Glover.
The "decent swordfish" bit gets me every time!
Frasier's making me feel pretentious for prefering subtitles. But seriously dubbing is only good in Hong Kong martial arts shlock.
I havent seen the full episodes in a while but remember when Niles tried to grow a mustache and Daphne tried to wipe it off? And now with Daphne island Niles has a full goatee? Great imagery for love and what it can do.
When I saw Kirby for the first time, I immediately thought of Side Show Bob.
You forgot her best line: “Where was Kathy when I was busting my ass putting him through dental school? Oh that’s right she wasn’t BORN YET!!!”
Lana had mixed personality . One appealed
I think it’s called SPLIT personality!!😂😂😂
Not my fav of FRI, might as well title it Frasier and Lana and Claire.
They were always my favorite lmfao…
Frasier never had fun relationships, this one is really weird , he is too eager?? Wat a stupid excuse, frasier just chased, kind of a simp, took me this long to realise
Yeah it's crazy! A very stupid excuse I agree.
Frasier can't love a woman, is mother made it impossible
I wonder who played Claire 😮she’s gorgeous ❤
Patricia Clarkson
Patricia Clarkson. * she’s in THE GREEN MILE
SCREW BOTH LANA AND CLAIRE! Frasier and Faye... the SANE choice. -Thats what I say
I think a Lana spinoff would have been a flop. She's a terrible character. Bebe would have been better
