Back from the Babel Med Music Festival in Marseille, which is also one of the biggest World Music business forums, Dudu Tassa - an accomplished and beloved musician - speaks about his music, its origins and influences, along with his hopes for the future. Dudu belongs to a distinguished musical dynasty comprised of Daoud Al-Kuwaity (grandfather) and Dudu's ... mother. Born to Iraqi and Yemenite parents, growing up in a Tel Aviv neighborhood comprised of mainly immigrants from these two countries, Dudu has created in his albums a musical fusion ranging from Iraqi and Yemenite influences to mainstream Israeli and even RADIOHEAD!
