Watched the whole thing! ...while working out in the basement. Training for the season (1 race down, will see when we get going again)...this is the closest I can get to the trail right now short of my front yard. Cant wait. These videos help in the mean time.
Watched the entire episode. Great looking trails. I have been riding and racing dirt bikes for 47 years, still love it. Nothing else compares. Arm pump is everyone's nightmare, especially when you are 63 years YOUNG. Keep up the good work !
Thank you for defining what the class category's mean at the beginning, helps me understand what age of riders are. As usual--- your rides are very good!!!
Yep watched whole vid. Great motivation to keep up on the TV while getting my morning treadmill workout. Gotta do all kinds of creative stuff to stay in race shape with this crappy weather.
i seen where you said it was cold the coldest ive raced in is 26 at airport in 2018 hope i can make it to a race this year haven't been to one yet because something always happens before a race smh
Hi Ron, i suffered badly from arm pump. Had 3 operations but still get massive arm pump, then i read about CBD oil. Started using it and i still get arm pump, but it must less. I tried 3 differed brands before it worked for me. Good luck.

Man that looked primo in the morning race! The pm race was brutal as far as track deterioration was concerned. I loved it, but it was a tough one. I was really hoping to see if you went through the Grand Canyon section, but I see they had it blocked off for the am race. First lap of the pm race, I went through it, only to fine a kx100 buried in the only line at the bottom. Lost a lot of time there help that kid out, but at that point there was no other option. Second lap they had it blocked off again. Good ride!
GyroRon The entrance is at 14:44. It went down into the ravine which was basically 1 bike wide all the way up to the mud hole at the bottom, and then merged back into the trail at 15:14. If you look closely between those two times, you can see water at the bottom. That’s where I got stuck. Usually the hard line has a significant time saving over the easy line, but in this case, even if you didn’t get stuck, I think it was about the same. I can’t really complain, I still won my class, but at the time, it was very frustrating.
I notice the mile markers are off compared to your cameras gps. So how does Mideast measure it?...gps as well? odometer on an atv when cutting the trails? That could explain it since most atvs are measured off the wheels or sprocket and doesn't account for wheel spin. About the 4 or 5 mile marker yours shows about a mile lower than their trail markers and continues on that way the rest of the vid. Just pondering. Good vid btw
Haha Ron. It’s funny what you said about the “shitty ass quad trail” and the stumps you were worried about. That’s all we got. 5 miles of stumps and 2 miles of field
Looks like an awesome course! arm pump is my weakness. I blame Years of weight lifting. Notice pros racers are built like string beans. Beach muscles aren’t your friend on the bike unfortunately. What bike is that? Sounds like a 450
GyroRon ever use a gripper seat , or step up? Heard it helps and notice all the top gncc guys use them. May help a bit with arm pump any help keeping you from sliding back especially out of the turns on a 450
Quads fuck everything up. Part of the reason I quit riding gncc's it sucks to ride worn out, pin it wide open quad junk trail. Had some friends down there racing, now that I've watched your video, I should have went.
@@GyroRon I've started using Dunlop's AT81EX. It's a gummy tire with the same tread pattern as the standard intermediate AT81. The EX is for enduro cross. Thus tire works awesome in the rocks and very good in everything else. It just plain hooks up. It's now my go to rear tire.
Get a smaller bike. I'm 45 year old 5' 11" and race HS on a KX100. I smoke people on 450s. Its so much easier blasting single track on a 168 pound bike vs 254 pounds. I think guy's ego's tell them to get the largest bike possible. Switching from 250F to KX100 was the best decision I ever made.

Nice Ride! Crazy how easy that course looks on video, it was really slippery and rooty!
I watched the whole thing! I usually do. I love watching trails and races start to finish. Great video. New subscriber.
Hope you enjoy my videos, thanks for watching
Watched the whole lap was great well ridden the spedo meter was really cool,
Enjoyed the video Ron, watched the whole thing. If it says dirt bike, I am all over it. Thanks.
Thanks man

Garmin ultra 30
Kind of bike you on? Breezed right up that hill climb that some had trouble with!
450xcf

It was track of the year in my opinion
Always watch all the way through unless it's just boring which most of them are not that at all!
thanks!
Ron you need to come to East Texas and ride Barnwell Mountain ORV with me sometime.
I'd love to. Never been to texas
Out on West Virginia what would you recommend for hare scrambles. Yz250fx or yz125 (both 2019)
The 250fx. It's a great bike.
Drayke Martin just the 250x :)
Still watching
imma watching
Is this the morning or afternoon race?
Morning
Why do some guys stand on a stool to kick? Is it for shorter riders? Asking because I am short!
Yep, makes it a little easier to get a strong kick and get going off the line. Mine has a button so no stool needed for me
Haha Ron. It’s funny what you said about the “shitty ass quad trail” and the stumps you were worried about. That’s all we got. 5 miles of stumps and 2 miles of field
I think if I was gonna race quads I wanna do it on one of them big nasty 4x4 rigs!
GyroRon only way to get some ground clearance out of them. I’ve ridden some of them. Feels more like a seadoo than atv
I did watch till the end . Muddy , and slick is not my idea of fun. But i`v seen it a lot worse. Good race !
still watching....
King of the arm-pump racers! I don't think girls get arm pump.
They also don't rack their nuts on the gas tank!
How many in your class?
That race is over a year ago. Was probably at least 6-10 riders
