NB In the days of the Communist Block Czech films were the the most original and often very different from, say, Russian or Bulgarian films. Oldrich Lipski, the director of Lemonade Joe, also made Adela Hasn’t Had Her Supper yet and The Secret of the Carpathian Castle - in a similar parodic vein. All excellent.
