  • This weekend we hit the road on our way to New Braunfels when we had a change of mind. We ended up in Austin, Texas. Probably one of many future trips. Our plan was to visit four places
    -Jewboy Burgers
    -Thinkery
    -Medusa Skates
    -Manolis Ice Cream
Unfortunately things didn’t work out as we had hoped and only crossed our two out of the four. The trip though was definitely worth it.
Jewboy Burgers is a must try. The ambiance and food were perfect for a weekend lunch.

The Thinkery- Childrens Museum was lots of fun. Mateo enjoyed certain areas. Our honest review. Overall the museum seemed somewhat on the smaller side. After walking through it all, we believe it’s better suited for ages 3 or 4 and up. It museum seems to focus a lot on the sciences which is really cool.

Around the museum area there are some restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops.
Across the street is Mueller Lake Park with a big playground and a trail to run, walk or bike.
One can really spend a day here.
