Great video Donnie as far as your technical work. I would just say that when you are working and describing what you are doing, as you don't have a separate mic attached to your t-shirt and the audio is from the camera try and project your voice towards the camera as opposed to down at the floor as your voice is hard to hear clearly at the beginning. Do I have to put this membrane on if I will be laying the 24" x 12" tiles on concrete floor in my bathroom? Thanks, Ryan
Can I use the tile adhesive (Mastic) instead of the thin-set ? I really hate mixing thin-set (why is it called a thin-set anyway) and never get it to the thickness that is perfect. Some cases its too thin, sometimes its too rigid, I prefer the use of the premixed adhesive (Mastic) which is now called - Type 1. Will it work ? This is a first time I'm using the membrane mat.
No to all.Mastic is only ok for dry areas at best.Thin set some people of afraid of because yes you have to mix it.Just follow the mixing instructions.Measure out the water and you will be fine. Which uncoupling membrane are you using?
Can I help you with your project ? Let me know how www.dtilenj.com

I had leaks go around the underlayment and under. How could I secure the perimeter to this type of membrane? Thanks.
Red Gard tape seal the seams and wall / floor union.
