- What's up guys! I made my first money cake in December 2022 and I decided to film the whole process and give a tutorial on how to make it! I hope all of the instructions are clear. If you have any questions- please ask!! I love answering questions!
This cake is frosted in American buttercream, all decor made out of fondant!

*HELPFUL TIPS*:
Make sure to measure the box the money will go in. You'll want to make sure your cake is big enough. For example this box was 4.3"x4.3" but you could see in the video how big it is against an 8"cake. a 6"cake would not work.
-Carve the hole in the cake big enough to fit the box snuggly.
-Make sure you face the bills of the money forward to the front of the cake
-Test to make sure the money comes out by pulling the stick on top before inserting into your cake

Awesome vid. One cake artist to another, you can avoid the cracking if you heat your knife/spatula prior to cutting out your placement marks. It's not gonna melt your buttercream unless you overheat your knife, lol.
I think the box is way too large 🙄
Ok that is the normal size of the money box. Sometimes you can find smaller but it's rare. It's better that I show a bigger box than a smaller one in case they get a bigger one too.
not much cake when done
