I was born in Bus-bus, Sulu, unfortunately we don't have a chance to explore our homeland, this beautiful and un explore majestic place, we migrated here in Zamboanga City due to conflict 5 decades ago, my father was a retired army he was deployed in 70's and my mother is a native Tausug. These is a sign of progress. Kudos!

Taga sulu ako at dito ako lumaki. Noon Hindi pa nag martial law 1972 sa panahon ni prez, Ferdinand Marcos Sr. Ang sulu mas maganda sa Zamboanga City. Mataas ang mga gussli, mga malls, at mga cenema. Ang pera sa taga jolo parang papel lang kung gimagastos, mamasyal lang puntang manila, puntang Hong Kong, puntang Singapore, Thailand, at Indonesia. Sa pag deklara ng martial law. Lahat ng enjoyments ng taga sulu, nawalan parang hangin at nakararanas ng kahirapan sa buhay. Ang nag pahirap sa taga sulu mismo taga Maynila kasi kung hindi nagkaroon ng Martial law 1972 Hindi ang taga sulu punta ng Sabah upang mag trabaho. Pero Napolitano ang taga sulu sa pag punta sa Sabah dahil Wala ng mahirap na Ang kabuhayan. Hindi na maka pag farm ang farmers. Ang mangingisda hindi na rin mka pangisda kasi pinag bawalan pupunta sa bundok at pupunta sa laut. Ngayon mas ok ok na baka tuloy2 na babalik Ang kabuhayan ng mga taga sulu.

I am Tausug too and had enjoyed swimming in my childhood days in Tanjung beach where it was more beautiful ( more sandy and wide) than it is now. Gone to Bud Datu and got my first sight of the beauty of Sulu from top of the mountain . Maybe next time , I'll try to be adventurous and see more places out there. Lucky you, you've gone farther than me.

Sometime in the 1980s I was with a lady engineer for project inspections in Sulu for 30 days. It was during the MNLF rebellion. We go around with the District engineering personnel without any military personnel accompanying us to aver us into crossfire between the military and the MNLF. It was a heart-thumping and exciting experience I had in my life. The exciting part are the robust hospitality of the municipal and barangay officials and their people. I am 72 years old now and retiree from government service.
Economic development and better life for the Sulu people comes as peace and security is established. This is a very beautiful unspoiled paradise waiting for tourists to explore and enjoy. Good for ASG to surrender and embrace civilian life. God bless the Philippines.
Dahil sa mga vlog mo Ms. Xzar parang ang dami ko na din napuntahan dito sa Pinas pero kakaiba itong travel mo sa Sulo, nawala yung negative tungkol sa Sulo na magulo pero sa totoo lang dahil sa vlog mo nakita kong napaganda pala ng Sulo at sa tulong ng mga kasundaluhan natin ay unti-unti ng naging payapa ang Sulo.
The previous administration is far from perfect. But we have to give credit where credit is due. Without the political will and huge effort from the government, our travelers won't be able to enjoy this kind of adventure. From the littlest of road improvements, up to closing the gap in our insurgency problems, the Philippines have come a long way.

Nakakatuwa Talaga ... sa napanood ko dahil panahon namin, sa mga buhay na naibuwis noon na mga buhay ng sundalo (Marines/ Army) at kalaban Mnlf ... late 70s to 80s ... hanggang panahon ng AsG .... ang KAPAYAPAAN at Pagmamahalan naghahari ... Dakilang Ilohim ... God Bless All .... na me miss ko rin ang Tawi-Tawi mga Kabagayan ...
