Hi Im a mental health support worker and a trained FS leader. During the pandemic i have supported one of my clients to go for walk and talk sessions on the beach and through woodlands. She has shared with me the wonder that she has found within the rock pools and collected shells. She has showed me the deer and stag hangouts and her favourite trails. These sessions have inspired me to start the process of setting up free lance nature inspired support service and reconnect with the forest school community again. Thanks Sara, yes it is such an amazing sight! We're very lucky to live near to the Norfolk coastline. There are 2 large Grey Seal populations that hang out in Norfolk - one on Blakeney Point in North Norfolk and one around the East coast Winterton Dunes area. This particular beach was a place called Horsey which is the East Coast population. I love watching the seals - they are so expressive, curious and playful. A few years back I had a deeply connective experience with a seal pup after spending some time sitting quietly in a sit spot - it was just magical to spend a few hours within their world!
