should be one of the greatest dunks in the history of the nba. a one one one move with a one foot take off reverse dunk over one of the best defensive players ever. It is unbelievable that I have not seen this dunk before and I have been a die hard nba fan for over 40 years.
Starks was athletic in his youth and prime. 6'4 can fly high just like Dwyane Wade 90s Version Can posterize both Olajuwon and Michael Jordan. Can hit 3s as well Such a shame that Knicks lost against Rockets back in 1994.
Damm the only poster Dunk I knew of John Starks Was On My Favorite 90's Team Michael Jordan And The Bulls i didnt Know He Dunked On Hakeem Olajuwon, A.C. Green, Doug West & Alonzo Mourning That's Crazy
Even WITH the footage, some argued, he didn't dunk on Jordan. If you were at the rim and up in the air, attempting to defend the basket....you got dunked on. Lol.
I was a bulls fan but I loved NY team so much. Everytime I see people nowaday just cruising to the hoop not being checked nor realy hit, makes me think of this team. I would love to see players that like to penetrate today do it against the NY defense, see if they would actualy try it more than once after running into Mason, Oakley, Mcdaniels or Ewing. Would love to see what would happen to Harden after trying to steal fouls like he does today. Not hating on Harden he is good enough to walk that thin line, but I think he would have to readjust after a few plays because I see no chance of him not getting laid out
Do a posterization series.....bet most of the highlights would b from the 80's........also do top 5 from Tom Chambers, Larry Johnson, Rex Chapman.......to name a few....Thnx and keep up the great work!!!!
I was a huge knicks fan until pat left. I was watching that rockets game when he banged on keem. Lotta ups and downs in them days. The spreewell and Alan Houston era was our last hoorah 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️💯
Haha that lefty on Jordan hurts the mj-groupies so much it's barely even legal!! They're trynna prove (to themselves) that the dunk wasn't on mj actually, while there is a poster of jordan slapping Starks's wrist while he dips the donut. It's a trauma for them. Starks has dunked on and blocked Jordan many times (there is a spectacular block in that very same game with 'The Dunk' as well), while Jordan has never blocked or dunked on Starks...
So i have to ask...is john starks left handed, right handed or ambidextrous? Im pretty sure he dunked on hakeen and jordan with his left, but others with his right. If thats the case, hes more underrated as a point dunker than i originally thought.
He's right handed, but he said that a lot of times the way he got off the ground made it easier to dunk with his left, so he probably propelled with his right foot.
That's a hell of a dunk on Hakeem, never seen that before
yeap, Still shocked about that one, he saw a him and went after it
Then jogged down the court like "nothin' to it."
@@W.13th true, these days the player would flex and scream like crazy lol

Starks was no joke. An athletic player with a big heart
As a MJ fan I can truly give respect to John Starks for being such a fierce competitor
The dunk over HoGrant and MJ is the best in-game dunk I’ve ever seen…

Starks was a beast . When he wants to dunk nothing and no one gets in his way. Fearless !
My favorite player of the 90‘s....with Mike
From bagging groceries @ Safeway to dunkin' on the best of 'em. Good lookin' out, Vault
And put the big man on the floor! What a poster dunk!

Dayum Hakeem!!??

Both AC Green. Hakeem both weren't ready for that.
As a new Yorker.....I cried for those days.....
My man J. Starks
That dunk on The Dream…. Wow. Thanks for the awesome video!
You’re welcome man

I came for the MJ dunk but loved the yam on Hakeem
Those were awesome. #4 it was king he just kept going up

John Starks, Michael Jordan Patrick Ewing
Penny hardaway , Allen Iverson
Do more like this bro👍
Damn didn’t know he had those kind of ups
He even competed in the dunk contest before joining the Knicks.
John was never 6’5” makes it more impressive
some argue more like 6"3.
he admits he 6'2"
I remember that dunk on Hakeem! It was in the 94/95 season...the first game between the Knicks and the Rockets after the 94 finals. Knicks won 93-77
I was a huge knicks fan until pat left. I was watching that rockets game when he banged on keem. Lotta ups and downs in them days. The spreewell and Alan Houston era was our last hoorah 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️💯
Hakeem on the poster!! 😮
Super underrated dunk
Look michael jordan reaction.
Crazy bruhhh

That dunk is priceless Horace Grant ang MJ. I gotta have that poster!
Love the game❤
I didn’t realize back n the day that John was jumping out the gym
Dunked with both hands
Nice
Number 1 looks similar to a dunk I did on a 7 foot goal over my son
What's the name of this song? It's nice!!
hip 2 da game
I’m not a knicks fan,but I like John starks
最後のダンクはシカゴとのプレーオフで決めたことで、価値が何倍にも上がる。

he is right-handed

Starks was great,, but too many mental breakdowns when the Knicks needed him.
He was very streaky from what I remember. Could go off for 35 one night and 10 the next. Fun player to watch though.
John starks best dunk was actually vs Hakeem the rematch game
The own John Stark Say in a interview tha his real height was 6'2 not 6'5 .wao .
Wow he fathered Hakeem too?!!!
A lost jewel this video..
Why don’t you show the one where Hakeem blocked him in game six of the 1994 NBA from trying too win
awwwww 😪😪😪😥😥😥😥😥 poor hakeem got posterized.
