Emmet Cahill sang this so beautifully and with such deep feeling and expression that I cried for the pure beauty of it,, Emmet has a true gift for emotionally expressing himself when he sings.. and the fact that he has been gifted with in my opinion one of the greatest tenor voices ever adds to the impact he makes every time you hear him.. Emmet puts everything he has into each song he sings.. and he has a lot., he is magnificant.. he has pure tone and flawless exoression.. his hand gestures and facial expression are riveting., and his voice is indomitable and unforgettable.. Bring Him Home is highly emotional and each one who sings this has his own way of going about it.. Emmet has a powerful voice and is capable of holding notes seemingly forever.. yes this is true of all great tenors.. what sets him apart to me is his ethereal ability to go from forte to pianisimo in an instant.. Truly amazing to hear him do this., his control of his superb voice is exquisite.. one of many, many reasons Emmet can make you cry when he sings..and why we love him so...
