I've prepped salads with romaine, tomato, cucumber and onion and it has always been crunchy for at least a week. I just don't add any dressing until I'm ready to eat it. 😊

Hey lovey! So the answer to your first question is yes and no. Since I work at a school, 9 times out of 10 I’ll just eat the protein on my salad cold. But if I’m home and don’t feel like being lazy, I’ll heat up the protein. As for your second question, sometimes I feel bougie and take the meal prep out of the container and put it on a nice plate to make my dinner look aesthetically pleasing 😂💁🏾♀️But more often than not, i heat them up in the same containers

Does your salads keep for you the whole week? Towards the end of the week my salads don't be as fresh as day one and two. Could it be my bowls? Any suggestions are appreciated and I'm thankful for the feedback.

I've always been curious about meal prep but my reservation or question rather is, how does this work when chicken goes bad after 2 or 3 days and the max seafood can last is 3 or 4 days?
Hey Lena! So I’ve had no experience with my food, especially proteins going bad after 3 days, mine has held up for 5-6 days. You could freeze the proteins or only prep 2-3 days at a time if that puts your mind at ease
@@rianna_janis thank you for sharing! I've always wondered how that worked out for people. I think meal prepping for a shorter time frame is a good suggestion. I may end up doing something similar to what I did back when I worked long hours in the office. Make a big rice or rice noodle dish or crockpot dish to freeze and defrost easily. And on days when i have time, make larger portion dinner to eat the leftovers for lunch/ dinner the next day. That way I'm not constantly cooking like I am now.
