It makes him so happy to run like this :) We only let him do it on long stretches of back roads we're familiar with.
I am deaf so I rely on either closed caption or my voice data transfer. My comment is that when you were running down the road with Kamp the closed caption wrote “Laughing” when the camera was on Kamp. Therefore, Kamp has his own text and sound as laughing..Now that is BIG for you little buddy!!

You guys remind me when my late husband and I sold or give everything away and lived in our RV 8years. Wanting to travel cross country. We settled for traveling in our home state. Texas. due to his health getting worse so we brought 3ac at our favorite hunting area. I designed our small house. We had a licensed engineering co. To give us a draft. of blue print for a Septic the county appoved. Don't get the aerobic system. I interpreted the drawing , as the songs goes with help from friends. We did in it six months. I had it designed for a much bigger house. I designed our. small house 872 sq feet. Includes the 182 sq foot front porch. 2b 2b. sadly he only had 5y. to enjoy our hard work. Miss him everyday. Your true love for each other .keeps us all cheering for y'all. and of course champ the star. Hugs and love. Please keep posting. Love the editoring very professional. Both of you compliment each other. to make. a whole. 💜

We lost our home in hurricane Laura this year. So my husband and I + our 4 kids moved into a camper. It was a struggle at first, but it’s totally doable!

Me too! I live in southern Oklahoma and our winters have gotten warmer and warmer each year. Arctic front coming in this weekend but winter is not like it was when I was a child. Warmer and warmer each year here. I hate it.

I consider that a gourmet pancake meal. Barron's goggles and your sunglasses are perfect to avoid snow blindness which can be painful. Kamp needed some booties he had numb paws from playing in the snow.

Watching kamp run and have fun in such a easy breezy kind of way makes me feel so happy.
I would add a small wind generator to your WIFI antenna mast. It doesnt have to be anything big but being able to collect some overnight may make a huge difference. That was what I did and while not 100 reliable those cold darker days usually are windy days and was able to produce some power.
What about freezing temperatures? I mean the turbine will keep freezing i think
@@xezon3649 Not if it is moving... Haha. :) Just like water. You can have a running stream when it is -20 degrees out.

I agree, one of those small turbines that are used on yacht or sailboats would probably work fine. At least one additional solar panel so that when it is sunny, they can generate more electricity.

I rarely comment on RUclips videos, but here we go. I’ve always been attracted to this way of life. I don’t need things in my life, I need more time to spend with the people I love. It took me 2 years to convince my fiancé to stop renting a home that we don’t like that’s filled with things that we don’t need and live a happier, healthier life. She finally agreed (grew tired of listening to me go on about it) and so we started looking. There are so many options! Old, new, van, motorhome, caravan, fully converted, part converted, weight.....we settled on a motorhome as it would have everything we need.....and then covid happened. We couldn’t drive anywhere to look at old or new vehicles, dealers stopped offering finance etc and now, because of various things it’s been put on hold. But damnnn we were so close!! Love watching your videos and I admire you 3! Great podcast too 😊 oh and barron, hurry up with that book! 😂 ✌🏻 ❤️

I own a Subaru Forrester, and am always impressed on how much fun they are to drive. Watching you two get water I was impressed at how well it did in deepish snow, with a good driver. I myself am a weenie when it comes to driving in the snow. :)

My golden retriever appreciates his snow boots, it seems. His feet get too cold in snow.
I was thinking the same thing doggie booties would help. Many of the bushcraft winter campers put booties on their dogs, makes a huge difference for the pet.

Wow I found your video so interesting from so many aspects. #1 I take so many things for granted #2. Relationship is the most important thing in this world. Because if we don’t have each other to help, love and guide then we have nothing.
#3. Obtaining and maintaining our essential resources is necessary to our survival… Very few people would be able to survive in scenarios such as you. Our world has gone mad due to the lack of understanding in this concept.

I have a dog that I exercise by letting her run behind the tuck on a dirt road 3-4 times a week. She loves it, she's reliable in respecting the truck and not getting near or in front, I always have visual in my mirrors and when we get to our walking area she has burned off enough energy to walk pleasantly with me and the other dogs. ❤️

I did the same thing growing up and she loved it so much!!! One of the people on our private country road called the cops on us saying we were torturing her 😂

Perhaps the thing I admire the most about the two of you is how well you take life’s challenges in stride. Your philosophy of life happening “for you” instead of “to you” comes to my mind whenever I get annoyed by circumstances not fitting my expectations. Of course, editing probably makes it look a little more seamless than it actually is but we think you guys are pretty great nevertheless. 😊

I’ve got two Shibas snoozing as I watched this and both of them woke right up and did the same a bit ago . They’re both so compassionate , empathetic (or am I just anthropomorphising here?) , when the cat is outside in the cold wanting in , they come tell me .

I’ll never get tired seeing this content so relaxing , simple and yet so hearty like a nice warm bowl of soup on a winters day.
When puppers walk/run in the snow for a long time, the ice/snow gets stuck to/in their paws and hurts(or so I heard, I live in California). Could be why he was whining.
When I moved to Maine I knew nothing about dealing with snow. My poor baby 🐕 was getting cuts on his feet from the ice. I ended putting socks on his feet with rubber bands to hold and that did the trick. Back in California now and he's happy 😊
