Hello everyone!
We are recording in Matsuyama city which is located in Shikoku island.
Let me introduce ourselves
Steven
Steven is the guest house owner which is near Dogo Onsen, one of the oldest hot spring in Japan. I used to live in the US for 5 years, so I have some idea of American culture.
Peach
Peach was born in Canada to a few Asian countries.
Her mother is Japanese, so she grew up Japanese community.
Thus, although she understands the Asian culture, her knowledge is based on western culture.
We will show some hilarious videos such as reaction videos, strange things in Japan.
Moreover, Peach grew up in bilingual environments and is able to switch between languages, so we will be doing double reactions in Japanese and English.
Yea that mental switch is a crazy thing, im also Canadian but I've grown up in a Asian household, specifically afghani and when I'm speaking with friends my character is way more laid back than when I'm speaking my native tongue with family members. Idk why that happenes but I will act as a completely diffrent person.

Hm... interesting, I myself am Chinese, born and raised. When I was 17 I went to the US and lived there for 11 years. I feel the same about the switch thing, it's like one person with two mind sets. I wonder if it's the same for most multilingual people.
I don't know about multilingual people in general but Asians who have been exposed to a lot of western culture usually have this split opinion lol The Asian in us thinks the western world is backwards; their children have a sever lack of respect for their elders and parents, their food lacks MSG, and they don't beat their children enough XD! Mean while the western upbringing in us thinks "child abuse is wrong, my mom is sooo annoying, and why don't people use more MSG ?!" XD!

Most of us know more than 1 language actually. Unless you are American or British except wales they have their own language too. The rest of us know our own language and then English. The same as any other Asian person who learn their native tongue as well as English.
Even as a joke, you need to be accurate, if you said Americans then I'd agree. Not all white people speak English but most of us Learn it in school.
