Light tanks are useful as recon. If the enemy infantry doesn't have AT, you can put light tank recon in your infantry and they won't be able to pen

If I'm correct, many mp games don't allow using the light tank recon in infantry divisions.

@@niewiemjaksienazwac1652 oh. That rule sounds abit dumb. Light tanks only use is in recon, since they can't pen Med and Heavy tanks and have worse stats than them other than in speed. They're also pretty easy to counter just by adding 1 AT to each infantry division. 20's can be turned into 6 inf, 2 arty, 1 AA, 1 AT (Or double AT), 30's into 10 inf, 3 arty, 1 AT, and 40's can be turned into 12 inf, 4 arty, 2 AA and 2 AT. It does take alot more production to get all the AT but then again it takes alot of production to get enough light tanks to outfit all of your infantry with light tanks.
If something only has 1 use, and it's easily counterable, why ban it?
@@cookiecraze1310 idk, it's dumb for me too. Like people whining because they didn't do the most simple act of putting AT in their divisions. I don't play multiplayer myself, because I still somewhat value my time but from what I heard it's mostly banned. I'm pretty sure this strat could be even countered by simple AA or AT support because AA also has some piercing. I'm not really a meta guy, i just play against AI testing some dumb unit templates so I might be saying largest of bullshits.

Correction Romania wasn't given land in the treaty of brest livotsk in WW1 during the Russian civil war they pulled the ultimate Romanian move and stole it, Romania wasnt in the central powers so after Russia fell Romania got nothing and instead was occupied

They can be out ICed and stopped by most infantry. Theyre only capable if you put much effort into them, at which point just get Mediums so you dont need to upgrade Engine and Armor which is insanely expensive for IC/ Construction Cost
