Enjoying together & get-together is fine for humans in the name of god following this kind of events but, by ignoring & damaging the environment and harming other living beings, are we not contradicting the very principles that we claim to uphold? Is this really the way to celebrate and honor God or ultimate reality, or are we missing the point entirely? I'm not saying we should stop celebrating altogether, but I think we can do it in a way that's more mindful of the very existence of nature is not it. We could use biodegradable materials, implement proper waste management systems, and promote sustainable practices i.e basically reducing our negetive footprint etc among our community right. 👍 Didn't we know that the immersion of idols in water bodies can contaminate the water, and the use of plastics and other non-biodegradable materials can contribute to waste and pollution? It's not just about the environment; it's also about our own health and well-being. I am just telling people to observe the impact that these events have on our environment. I'm worried that in the name of celebration, we're harming the delicate balance of nature and causing more harm than good. Let's take a step back, reconsider & update ourselves to the core and think critically about our actions i.e what can we do differently to make our celebrations more eco-friendly? How can we enjoy ourselves while also being responsible towards the environment? There are few more i like to highlight for humans to understand, rest it's their decision whether to walk blind or not ? Here are few more negative effects in the process: 1. Air pollution from fireworks, loudspeakers, and generators can exacerbate respiratory issues like asthma and bronchitis. 2. Noise pollution can lead to hearing loss, cardiovascular problems, and increased stress levels. 3. Improper waste disposal can attract disease-carrying vectors like rodents, mosquitoes, flies & many more. 4. The use of single-use plastics, chemicals, and pesticides in celebrations can contaminate soil, water, and air, affecting the health of humans and wildlife. 5. The noise and light pollution can disrupt the natural behaviors of animals, such as migration patterns, breeding habits, and communication. 6. The commercialization of celebrations can lead to the erosion of traditional cultural practices and spiritual values. 7. The focus on material possessions and external displays of wealth can distract from the true meaning and purpose of celebrations. 8. The disregard for the environment can be seen as a disregard for the sacredness of nature and the interconnectedness of all living beings. 9. Climate change: The carbon footprint of celebrations, including transportation, energy consumption, and waste generation, contributes to climate change. 10. Deforestation and habitat destruction: The demand for resources, such as wood and paper, can lead to deforestation and habitat destruction. 11. Pollution: The release of pollutants, such as chemicals, heavy metals, and microplastics, can contaminate soil, water, and air, affecting ecosystems and wildlife. 12. The irony that the creation of idols, which are meant to represent the divine, often requires the exploitation of natural resources and can harm the environment. This is a crucial point to consider, as it challenges the notion that these idols are imbued with spiritual significance. 12. The paradox of idol worship that one could explore the contradiction between the reverence for idols and the harm caused by their creation. This could lead to a discussion about the true meaning of spirituality and the importance of respecting the natural world. 13. One could delve deeper into the environmental impact of idol-making, including the extraction of resources, the use of chemicals and paints, and the waste generated during the process. 14. See & observe that how the creation of idols can lead to a humanization of the divine, where the focus shifts from the spiritual to the material. Lastly, an alternative forms of worship i.e how one can worship that are more environmentally friendly, such as meditation, prayer, priotizing overall health within & out or community service i.e a sustainable ways to connect with the divine the ultimate truth following one's core truth' that is when possible when we find ourselves to the core ! I think I have almost covered everything, remember it's for us for our overall well-being & wellness. God is defined by humans & we are the only species that can acknowledge the ultimate reality. ☝️ Humans 💪 Come to the reality face it dear folks. We need to act quick before it's late pls be mindful of your actions ! Thankyou 🤍 🙏
