I received Pure Havane 2 days ago and can't stop going back to it. I'm kicking myself for not going for it before. Even my 7y/old's famously finicky nose approves. Such a beautiful, gourmandish composition. Yes, the bottle may be tacky and the sprayer is atrocious, but that cherried tobacco is devine.
Amazing scent but the sprayer is TRASH and sprayers are important...
Take an exacto knife and cut away that top rubber part. I just did the grooved part and left the back part of the flap alone and it sits there looking like it would normally except I can press the sprayer easily and it works just fine now.

A few weeks ago, i went to the store to try out spice bomb extreme and la nuit. I tested them both for days, and found the dry downs somewhat similar. Funny enough, I don't hear anyone say this on RUclips. Spice Bomb lasted longer and had a better projection, but I found La nuit sexier, and less shouting. I have been wearing La Nuit to the office for the last weeks, and I have to say I like it even more now. I never smelled the pre-reformulated batches, but I easily get 8 hours projection (I do 5 sprays) with this 2019 batch. Easily top 3 in my collection. I got the 200ML bottle for €77. That is less than $40 for 100ML. 100% worth the money I'd say!
Do you agree with my experience that testers generally provide much much better performance results then retail bottles?
I haven't smelled pure havan so The One is what I have to pick, and spice bomb is just the best, it slaps. It's gonna be spice bomb vs The One

i live in a tropical country,would these fall themed fragrances fit the nights then?
If it drops below 50degrees at night. Some of the stronger fragrances could be used. SpiceBomb and the Pure Malt and Pure Havane. 2 sprays in a warm climate would be enough. 3 sprays and everyone will smell you.
No, dont do it unless its night and kinda cold. It quickly becomes too much.
Always choose fragrances in accordance to your climate and humidity (humidity changes a fragrance A LOT)
I'm from the tropics too and u can pull it out just on a cool night with 2 to 3 sprays... definitely not in the hot day😂

One for reasons for lower votes on certain matchups might be because some people might not have experience with both fragrances. Even though I like pure havane and spicebomb extreme, I abstained on voting for those two because I havent smelled homme intense or uomo intense, and so I wanted to be fair

Superb election and choices..👍👍 But somehow i felt The One shud take-on La nuit (both elegant, subtle date nite frags) and SBE shud take on PH(both amazing club frags that screams out loud)..Anyone else felt the same..?? 😃

This is a pretty awesome idea. In the next round I’m still sure Spicebomb extreme will win. It’s such an awesome scent, I can’t imagine it losing to any other fragrance.

The One EDP just smells so delectable lol if the performance was better it would easily be a top 5 designer of all time.
Only 2 I disagree with are Spicebomb extreme over DHI and La Nuit over Pure Malt. Pure Malt is in my top 3 favorite fragrances of all time and I just don't get the hype around SB extreme. The original is much more my speed but hey, it's fragrance, it's subjective

I would pick Spice Bomb Extreme over DH Intense but would definetely take DH Parfum over aby other fragrances here.
I was surprised at pure malt only getting 30%, I voted that over LNDL. Went The One, Havane(I love those 2 muglers) & had to go dior too. So I got 2 thru.

*Guarenteed* that if the percentage wasn't shown after we voted or if we couldn't change our minds, the results would be different. Perhaps dramatically. Groupthink or no groupthink, I would imagine that many people out there want to be on the 'winning' team.

I love La Nuit but I get TERRIBLE performance wearing it. In intimate situations it’s fine and it might just be my skin but it becomes a skin scent so quickly for me

@Grey Really? they are fairly different from each other especially the 2020 batches. Homme has no Iris, Intense does not have leather.

This only proves majority of the people who voted for this have sadly poor taste in fragrance, just like the majority of population has a very poor taste in music. A agree Spice bomb extreme is more versatile in fact all of the other fragrance are, DHI stands alone ( except uomo) being best for more formal occasion as it is far more sophisticated than the rest. Most people who have it never probably get a chance to use it properly especially now with Covid going on.
I kinda agree but frag is cery sucjective thing. People have different smells and cna pick up different notes with different intensity. Also frags brings memories very intensively and these memories again are different for anyone. Personally I would pick Spice Bomb over DHI, but DH EDP over aby frag in this list. Similar story with The One EDT. I would however take it over Prada Black butnormally The One EDT for me is not close to what it used to be. Rather EDP or EDP Intense. I would even take D&G Intenso over #1 EDT.
