They are not really an HP fan and didnt know the true essence of the drama (life of 5 characters and patients, buildup of each episode and character as the episode goes by). They only want common cheesy monotonous drama plot or exchange of husband/wives haha. Every episode/song is refreshing and giving us new hope and joy despite our situation in this pandemic. Also, this slice of life drama shows the realistic side of life where good and beautiful times are not always there.

Of course, the main story is still based on the five main characters, but we also got decent screen time of Gyeoul, Chuchu, Jaehak, Iksun, Uju, Jeongwon's mom, and Mr. Ju, even Yong Seokmin and Heo Sunbin have their own love story. If they put a much faster pace on that complex scenario, that gonna be a messy and tangled storyline.

I include myself in the one who hates extremely touchy and all-flowery romance, but dramas like Hospital Playlist made me fell in love in slow-burn romances like we see with Ikjun and Songhwa. As much as i love winter garden (and thats a lot), I must say i'm glad the proposal didn't happen yet. Gyeo-ul still seems a bit hesitant to share parts of her life that she may think are ugly. She sees Jeong-won as perfect and not giving him perfection back probably stops her from doing so. To me, their relationship still has an even higher level it can reach. A relationship based on acceptance and not perfection. The love is there, all it takes is a bit of courage and trust in your partner and the winter garden story will get its happy ending!💜💜

Many people hate gyeoul because she didn't share things with jw. Instead of hating her try to understand her. We all know that jw is very expressive and he is very attentive to small details unlike gyeoul who is an introvert and she is used to keep things within herself. She even shares most of the things to him (like he even know about her fake bf)but she is hesitant when it comes to her family issues which is very much understandable if she comes from an abusive household. Gyeoul thinks jw is perfect and is too perfect for her, so she also tries to be a perfect gf to him may be that's why she is still hesitant to show him her vulnerable sides. But after seeing her text it is clear that she is ready to share things with him. That's why she emphasized that she will explain him the details later that too 3x. Which means she is ready to share it with him but she wants to do it personally rather than mere text or call because its something too serious not somethings small issue to share via text. Gyeoul situation reminds me of Jamie from A Walk to Remember. Jamie didn’t share her illness to Landon because she didn’t want to just be about that, someone that is sick and dying. She also wanted to live as best she could. Gyeoul is the same, she didn’t want to be seen as just a person with a dark past, she’s not just all that, she is a hardworking and compassionate person, she is more than her past or family situation. She doesn’t say about her past could also be because she wanted to escape from it herself. if theory is right and Gyeoul really comes from an abusive household, put yourself in her shoe and try to imagine telling that to a person you always see as someone perfect. Ep 7 thought us to put ourselves into someone’s shoe. There is a huge difference in not telling because you didn’t want to burden that person versus not telling because it was a sensitive subject and you yourself find it hard to even look back.

Gyeoul situation reminds me of Jamie from A Walk to Remember. Jamie didn’t share her illness to Landon because she didn’t want to just be about that, someone that is sick and dying. She also wanted to live as best she could. Gyeoul is the same, she didn’t want to be seen as just a person with a dark past, she’s not just all that, she is a hardworking and compassionate person, she is more than her past or family situation. She doesn’t say about her past could also be because she wanted to escape from it herself.
if theory is right and Gyeoul really comes from an abusive household, put yourself in her shoe and try to imagine telling that to a person you always see as someone perfect. Ep 7 thought us to put ourselves into someone’s shoe.
