@ericjencson9489 just taking advantage of the rule 99% of players do the right thing throw then exit in a timley manner so its still a form of cheating with in the rules theres just no need for it
Me being a very fast player, i've alleays had a hard time playing slower players, but its within their right to play as slow as they need. Never had a problem with it.
I don't find slow players particularly good to watch, but I don't have a problem with it either, people have a right to play however suits them personally. If I find a player boring, I'll just skip the match. If you're a pro you'll come up against all sorts of players with a variety of playstyles, you need IMO to just cope and get on with the job.
if we're talking about gamesmanship, MVG is one of the worst. Just check where he's standing in the video of the game against Dmitri. Totally anti-sportsman behaviour, which he does ALL the time. If darts wants to be taken seriously, it has to introduce legislation, and then enforce it
I'm not a Dimi fan, all darts players know what they have to hit but this walking backward and going to the table is BS. Many sports have a countdown. Tennis for a serve, NFL between plays, Rugby for kicks and so on... There should be a stop clock timer once the opponent has taken his darts and walked past you the clock starts ticking.
Mitchell has gotta easily be one of the worst world champions ever, bro has done next to nothing outside of that win, and knows he isn't good enough so he uses all the tactics possible
True, worst BDO champion ever. Used to see him on the European circuit, like a pampered poodle with people around him. I'm usually not one to hope people fail, but I'm glad he did nothing in the PDC and soon disappeared.
Totally agreed. God there's been some piss poor BDO champions. Christian Kist, garbage, very few make it in the PDC anymore. Different 15 years + ago when Gary Anderson, Steven Bunting, Barney and the like were coming over. But now when they come they barely make Q school.
you left out bunting who now visualizes his major shots etc and takes his time i have nothing against slow play it's what works best for you these guys are playing for lost and lots of money it's their living, so u have to put your best performance on and whatever it takes u do it to feed your family
@DartsWorldyt 100% it will rattle them and anger them but the top guys have seen it before and stick to thier games. Gotta trust your darts keep your 12-15 dart average per leg it will mentally effect the slow player more keep throwing at your pace at other in your visit. Thier visit go to table sip of water dry hands on towel etc their visit will be over walk to oche repeat. Keep yourself busy between throws

It's not against any rules to play slow. It's annoying, but not against the rules. Same as golf. It's annoying, but not necessarily against the rules.
