Being black America vs Jamaica are two different experiences. In Jamaica, its a predominantly black country, so your identity is more transparent, because you see people who look like you from all walks of life: the Prime Minister is black, nurses, doctors, most CEO's, teachers, lawyers are all black. Unlike America, you are a minority and I think its something a lot of black African Americans struggle with unlike black immigrants because they have not had the experience to grow in an environment where their race is the dominant class.
What about being black in Europe ? 🤔 we blacks in majority white countries where we face limitations and systematic racisme. Although the experience are different guess what !? We are All black 😂😂😂

How did this lady seamlessly switch from a standard American English accent straight into a thick Jamaican accent?!? Amazing, Mon!

Fun fact: Linguistically, Jamaican Patois is an English based creole language that can be spoken on a continuum (speakers can turn up the English or flip into more west African speaking patterns at will). Have a great weekend 🇯🇲

Great reporting!! I’m Jamaican and I feel so proud of this reporter and of course the remarkable people of Jamaica. Including our next President Kamala Harris!! It’s true that Jamaican don’t think of skin color first, it’s not that type of country. ❤🇯🇲🇯🇲🇺🇸🇺🇸❤❤
She evidently thought skin color first by claiming indian and not Jamaican so that's why Trump said what he said, stop with the playing dumb and bashing him instead of making her be accountable for her actions...

Maybe go back to Jamaica then? *shrugs*
Very good observation!🇯🇲
